This was a masterful explanation of the Drake Equation. Truth be told, I would enjoy hearing Carl make a go of the Dirac Equation.

Humans appeared about a Million years ago, as per fossil record...our current progress..to cellular phone etc, took us about 2000 years...IF HUMANS appeared million years ago then, don't you think that in the FIRST 10k years they could have progressed so much...YES.. ALIENS
