Platner: I think that if we are going to have a politics that is going to be representative of regular people, if we are going to have a politics that's going to allow us to move past the polarization and frankly, the division that we find ourselves in, we really need to understand that people are capable of changing. We need to we need to keep hope alive, that people that we may disagree with today, that we can find common ground with. Like if you listen to what I've been saying on the campaign trail across the state, that's what I'm trying to talk about. It is important to me that we realize that most of us, most Americans, have far more in common than we think we do, and we need to give each other grace, and we need to give each other space to grow and to evolve. Because if we can't do that, then I'm not really sure what the purpose of any of this is.

It is going to be difficult to create genuine wealth in this country if we let the boda boda folk be the ones making political choices for us because we think we are more special and politics is beneath us. That attitude is what has let us to where we are right now. It needs to stop. We need to have the right conversations. We need to read the Constitution, the penal code, the PFM Act. We do not have a choice at all other than this.

So as long as those legal requirements are met, we can continue the investigation. Now, when I tell you that we have not identified a suspect, it doesn't mean that we're not working the case. John Fetterman Is a Great Example of the Type of Politician we need more of. I'm not talking about his politics. I understand that we all have opinions on various issues and vote for those who we feel will implement the best policies. But... I'm sick and tired of politicians who refuse to show any weakness, as if they are some sort of perfect robot. The willingness to admit you aren't perfect, face your demons and come out stronger because of it, is a trait we need more of from our role models. We don't need narcissists as role models or leading our nation. Whether it's blaming everyone but yourself for the mistakes you make, or refusing to correct a statement and admit that you were wrong, the mentality that one is perfect is not something that I think should appeal to any voter. Thank you John Fetterman for speaking truth and not being afraid to show a weakness. Admitting Weakness makes one stronger.
