My social media friends and family, I want to share a pop culture story with you that is deeply personal to me about my daughter, Jewel, and the rise of the sensational K-Pop grout BTS. As BTS prepares for their comeback performance tomorrow from their military service, some stories deserve to be told the right way. (If it’s available to you, I encourage you to watch the live stream performance Saturday morning at 1 AM EST.) Years ago, my daughter, Jewel, met a group of young men from South Korea who were in Los Angeles working, learning, and pursuing something they believed in. The world didn’t know them yet. They weren’t global icons. They were just young artists trying to find their way. That group was BTS. Jewel’s meeting them happened in a way that still feels serendipitous—and very much like her. While out to dinner in Los Angeles, exuding that natural warmth and vivaciousness she carried everywhere, she was approached by a band member and asked if she would be part of their reality TV show. She said yes, the way she always did to new experiences and new people. That moment led to her participation in their reality series "American Hustle Life," and from there, she was also invited to be part of their “Boy in Luv” LA music video. What began as a simple, genuine interaction—just Jewel being Jewel—quietly became something much bigger. When Jewel first arrived on set she saw something in them immediately. Not just talent—she saw who they were. Their kindness. Their humility. Their work ethic. Their respect for others. She told them they were going to go far. And she came home and told me the same thing… “Dad, they’re going to be stars.” She didn’t say it casually. She meant it. And she was right. Today, the world knows BTS for what they have accomplished—historic musical firsts in the United States, breaking barriers, filling stadiums, speaking at the United Nations, addressing anti-Asian hate crimes at the White House, and bringing people together across cultures and languages. But what makes me proud isn’t just their success. It’s that Jewel recognized their character before the world recognized their fame. After Jewel passed, something profound happened that I will never forget. The group reached out to me and then their fanbase—ARMY—showed up. Not in a small way. Not for a moment. But in a global, unified, compassionate movement. They helped tell Jewel’s story. They helped raise awareness about the defective Takata airbag that took her life. Together, we reached people across every continent. millions of engagements. Conversations that mattered. Lives saved. They didn’t have to do that. But they did. And that told me everything about who they are. Thank you. To the members of BTS—congratulations on completing your military service. That commitment to your country and your fellow citizens speaks volumes about your character. It reflects the same values Jewel saw in you from the very beginning. I am proud of everything you have accomplished. I am proud that your paths crossed with my daughter. And I am grateful that she had the chance to know you—not as the world sees you now, but as the young men you were, and still are at your core. Her belief in you came true. And I know that she is smiling down on you from heaven. —Alexander

"Life Is Truly Tough, but God Is Always Keeping Watch by Our Side Disasters keep happening, job opportunities are hard to come by, and we encounter obstacles at every turn. On top of that, we endure the torment of illness, financial constraints, and betrayals in marriage. Faced with various pressures of life, our hearts feel anguished. We cannot help but wonder: Why is life so painful? How can we break free from this suffering? Please read a passage of God’s words. Almighty God says, “Humanity, having strayed from the Almighty’s provision of life, is ignorant of the purpose of existence, but fears death nonetheless. They are without help or support, yet still reluctant to close their eyes, and they steel themselves to drag out an ignoble existence in this world, sacks of flesh with no sense of their own souls. You live in this way, without hope, as do others, without aim. Only the Holy One of legend will save the people who, moaning in the midst of their suffering, long desperately for His arrival. So far, such belief has not been realized in those who lack consciousness. Nevertheless, the people still yearn for it so. The Almighty has mercy on these people who have suffered deeply; at the same time, He is fed up with these people who lack consciousness, as He has had to wait too long for an answer from humanity. He wishes to seek, to seek your heart and your spirit, to bring you water and food and to awaken you, that you may no longer be thirsty and hungry. When you are weary and when you begin to feel something of the bleak desolation of this world, do not be lost, do not cry. Almighty God, the Watcher, will embrace your arrival at any time. He is keeping watch by your side, waiting for you to turn back around. He is waiting for the day you suddenly recover your memory: when you realize that you came from God, that, at some unknown time you lost your direction, at some unknown time you lost consciousness on the road, and at some unknown time acquired a ‘father’; when you realize, furthermore, that the Almighty has always been keeping watch, waiting there a very, very long time for your return.” "

🚨 WARNING: SOMETHING EXTREMELY BAD JUST HAPPENED Foreign nations pulled BILLIONS of gold OUT of the U.S. → The Netherlands pulled 86 tonnes → France pulled 129 tonnes → Germany pulled 300 tonnes This has NEVER happened before. But nobody is talking about what that means: These are not retail investors. These are NATIONS. For decades, enormous quantities of foreign gold were stored outside national borders. Including inside the United States. Now the direction is changing. Countries don't just want to HAVE their gold on paper. They want to KNOW EXACTLY WHERE IT IS. And they want direct control over it. This is bigger than gold. Because at the exact same time, foreign nations are reassessing their exposure to U.S. Treasuries. Some are reducing holdings. Others are diversifying reserves. And China? CHINA HAS BEEN BUYING GOLD NONSTOP. Month after month, Beijing continues adding to its reserves while building alternatives to the existing dollar-based financial system. This is the part most people are missing. The global financial system isn't changing because countries suddenly stopped trusting one asset. It's changing because governments are reducing their dependence on ANY single system. The pattern is becoming increasingly clear: → Gold is being repatriated → Reserve diversification is accelerating → Biggest foreign holders are dumping U.S. Treasuries → Central banks are accumulating more gold And the implications are enormous. Because the United States has benefited for decades from one extraordinary advantage: THE DOLLAR'S CENTRAL ROLE IN GLOBAL FINANCE. Foreign governments accumulated dollars. They bought U.S. Treasuries. They stored reserves inside the Western financial system. That created enormous demand for American assets. But what happens when countries begin changing the structure of their reserves? What happens when more governments decide that physical gold belongs INSIDE their own borders? What happens when Treasury holdings become less concentrated? What happens when China keeps accumulating gold while expanding alternative financial infrastructure? That's not how major financial systems change. It starts slowly. Reserve managers diversify. Gold gets moved. Treasury exposure gets adjusted. New payment networks emerge. And China is sitting directly at the center of all this. They are preparing for a world with MULTIPLE competing financial centers. Meanwhile, other nations are bringing their own gold home. It ca mean just one thing: THE RULES OF THE GLOBAL RESERVE SYSTEM ARE CHANGING. The question is no longer whether countries are diversifying. They already are. The real question is how far this goes. Pay attention. The biggest shifts in global finance are never obvious while they are happening. Then suddenly, everyone realizes the world has changed. I've spent more than a decade watching how these markets move. And I've also called nearly every major market top and bottom. Follow and turn on notifications now. Many people will wish they had started paying attention sooner.

Europe - The Continent That Teaches You How to Live Europe is the most visited continent in the world because once you have tasted this way of living, you feel a quiet pull to return. Not for monuments or museums, but for the rhythm of everyday life. For how days unfold without planning. For how strangers turn into stories. Life here is built around walking. Around streets that invite you to linger and villages that reward curiosity. You step outside and immediately belong to something. A square. A street corner. A café table that has been waiting for you for a hundred years. You walk through a city and hear someone singing on a corner, not for money, but because the moment asks for it. You stop. Others stop. For a minute, nobody is in a hurry. You watch a football match in a pub and somehow end up hugging people whose names you never learn. You duck into a bakery for bread and leave twelve hours later, having joined a birthday, a debate, a small improvised party that no one planned but everyone needed. You meet a beautiful Italian girl in a village you cannot pronounce. The next day she picks you up on a Vespa like it is the most natural thing in the world. You sit with a glass of red wine overlooking French vineyards as the light fades slowly, deliberately, as if the evening itself is unrolling on purpose. You wander into a pub in Ireland and end up watching a local match with people who treat you like you have always been there. You sit on a metro train and someone walks in with a speaker. Then someone starts singing. Then the whole carriage joins in. No explanation. No permission. Just shared joy for a few stops. You eat at a small restaurant in Greece, get to know the owners, return the next evening, and suddenly you are sitting at a long table with their family, their friends, singing and drinking deep into the night. Time stretches. The world narrows to voices, laughter, food, and the feeling that you are exactly where you should be. This is why people come to Europe. And why they always come back. Because here, life is not optimized. It is lived. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv Gandalv

This wallet did not exist yesterday. At 3 AM, I could not sleep. I was scrolling through the leaderboard and stumbled upon an anomaly that made me rub my eyes. It started with $213. That is the price of dinner for two. One day later, it had $54,871 on its balance. In just 36 hours, it earned enough to buy a car. I clicked on the transaction history, expecting to see a lucky all-in on some piece of news. Instead, I saw a machine gun burst. > 869 positions in a day and a half. > One trade every 2.5 minutes. > No breaks for sleep, food, or the bathroom. At 4:30 AM, while you were deep in your tenth dream, this address closed a $1,899 profit. That was when I realized I was not looking at a human. I was looking at a predator. This bot hunts on 15-minute BTC and ETH markets. Where most people see a casino and flip a coin on up or down, it sees flaws in your thinking. Here is how it works: > When Bitcoin drops 0.5%, the crowd panics. > The price of NO skyrockets to 75 cents. You sell out of fear. > But the bot knows the math. After such a drop, the actual probability of the trend continuing is only around 52%, not 75%. It buys your fear for 25 cents, when it is actually worth 45. It does not need to know the future. It just needs to buy dollars for 50 cents. But you know what scared me the most? There is a single trade in its history with a $3,213 loss. A normal person would freeze. Light a cigarette. Start doubting. This wallet opened its next position 54 seconds later. It has no ego. No tilt. No I need to win it back. Only an algorithm: if the probability is 55%, and the market pays as if it is 40%, press the button. This is the new form of mining. In 2017, you bought GPUs. In 2026, you write code that mines liquidity from other people’s emotions. Before you rush to search for scripts on GitHub, stop. The $213 starting point is an illusion. Behind it are servers next to the exchange, 50-millisecond latency, and a team of engineers. You will not beat them manually. You are not a player at this table. You are the food. While you were reading this post, it made another $50. Just watch.

🚨🗣️New: Luis Suárez reacts to Uruguay’s arrival in the United States for the World Cup, where the squad faced sniffer dogs and rigorous security checks: “I’ve been in football a long time, and I’ve seen tournaments all over the world. But what we’re witnessing here with the USA hosting this World Cup is deeply concerning. Take the Uruguay team arriving — world-class players like Manuel Ugarte, standing there with arms folded, looking utterly bewildered as sniffer dogs go through their bags like they’re common criminals. That image says it all. These are ambassadors of the game, not suspects at the border. This isn’t hospitality; it’s humiliation dressed up as security. You’ve got a Somali referee, one of Africa’s best, denied entry despite a valid visa — a man who dreamed of officiating at the pinnacle of his career, turned away at the airport. African and South American delegations facing extra screenings, visa chaos for fans and officials from qualified nations. This is the ‘land of the free’ rolling out the red carpet? It feels more like a fortress with razor wire. The beautiful game deserves better than being turned into a political football or a paranoid checkpoint. FIFA chased the dollars — and there are billions to be made, no doubt — but they’ve sold the soul of the tournament to a host that treats global football stars and supporters like potential threats. Meanwhile, American taxpayers and host cities are left holding a bill running into hundreds of millions for security and logistics that FIFA largely pockets. Football has always been about unity, passion, and bringing people together across borders. Right now, under this hosting, it’s being strangled by suspicion and overreach. The world is watching these scenes and cringing. If this continues, it risks leaving a bitter taste that lingers far longer than any on-pitch glory. We needed a celebration of the game — not a showcase of division. Something has to change.”

What Trump’s actions show is that globalization is over. Nations must form empires again and secure their strategic space and resources. The world has woken up and is preparing for this new age. If you do not possess a resource at home, or lack direct access to it and the military capability to defend that access and the transport routes then you are dependent on the goodwill of others. The so-called “free and open market” no longer exists. The global Walmart cop has retired. Free, secure, reliable, and cheap global transport may soon be a thing of the past. The world is wide awake and adapting. Europe, meanwhile, reacts with one-sided moral outrage. Geopolitical actions are still interpreted through the outdated ideology of the unipolar moment, judged morally by whether one likes or dislikes the regime being changed. Europe needs to wake up from its liberal, post-political slumber. We are no longer an isolated island between two blocs. We are no longer an economic eunuch living as an adorable pet in the golden cage of a Pax Americana. But the current elites refuse to wake up. They want to become the world police themsevles now - a globocop without a gun. When they speak belligerently about “defending Europe,” they do not mean defending European peoples, national identities, or national interests. They mean defending liberal universalism. They are fanatics of a cargo cult. They are incapable of responding to modern challenges or operating in a de-globalized world. They hate Trump and Putin primarily but because they think they shattered their beautiful dream of globalization out of bad will. They were just reading the signs earlier and rugpulled the unipolar world with imperial politics. Now our elites want to make it the White European man’s burden to rebuild a utopia that never existed in the first place. To get us in line they copy paste a few Vril-Edits, beat their chests and clamor about the "evil" rest of the world. I stand by my words. The real enemy is within. The greatest threat to national survival and European sovereignty is our current rotten, imbecile, unattractiv and stupid elite. Every day they are in power longer, they're losing more European soil, resources, power, lives, and ethnocultural heritage. They must go. Only then can we consolidate, build a Fortress Europe, begin remigration, and return as a sovereign player in the great game. PS: This edits are our culture, not your costume.

🇵🇱🇨🇿🇸🇰🇸🇮🇭🇷🇷🇸🇧🇦🇲🇪🇲🇰🇧🇬🇷🇺🇺🇦🇧🇾🍲 KAPUSTNICA — A TRADITIONAL SLOVAK 🇸🇰 SOUP OLDER THAN BORDERS, OLDER THAN STATES Kapustnica did not appear in cookbooks. It appeared in villages, forests, and winters — long before Slovakia, Poland, or any modern Slavic state existed. Its roots go back to the early Slavic settlements between the 6th and 9th centuries, when Slavs spread across Central and Eastern Europe. Cabbage was one of the first crops they mastered. It grew in poor soil, survived cold climates, and — once fermented — could feed a family through months of winter. Sauerkraut was not a delicacy. It was strategic survival. Meat entered the pot only after slaughter season, usually late autumn. Nothing was wasted. Smoked pork, bones, fat, and sausages were preserved for months, not taste but necessity. Forest mushrooms — boletus, chanterelles — were gathered, dried, and stored because forests were the Slavs’ first supermarkets. Garlic, onion, peppercorns, caraway, later paprika — all layered slowly into what became kapustnica. By the Middle Ages, this soup was already pan-Slavic. Variants existed from the Carpathians to the Balkans. In Catholic lands it became a Christmas dish after Advent fasting; in Orthodox regions it marked feast days after long abstinence. The logic was the same everywhere: simple ingredients, deep flavor, communal eating. Under empires — Hungarian, Habsburg, Ottoman, Russian — kapustnica stayed local and unchanged. Under communism, when shelves were empty but traditions survived, it remained a fixed point of dignity. One pot. One table. One shared memory. This is why kapustnica still matters. It carries a time when Slavs lived closer to land than to politics. When food wasn’t content, but continuity. When survival created culture — not the other way around. Kapustnica is not nostalgia. It is historical memory you can taste. Those who grew up with it know: this soup fed generations before flags — and it will outlast trends after them. America Is Closed: The Tourists Are Going Elsewhere! While America turns visitors away, the rest of the world is having the time of its life. Europe recorded 793 million international tourists in 2025, up 6 percent on pre-pandemic levels. France alone welcomed 102 million visitors, generating a record 77.5 billion euros in tourism revenue. The tourists are out there. They have money to spend and planes to board. They are simply choosing not to spend it in America. International arrivals to the United States fell for the ninth consecutive month in January 2026, down 4.2 percent year-on-year. Global tourism spending grew by 6.7 percent in the same period. The world is traveling more than ever. It is simply choosing not to travel to America. The Canadian Collapse Canadians, historically the single largest source of foreign visitors to the United States, have stopped coming. Road trips across the border fell 30 percent in the most recent month. Air travel from Canada is down 24 percent. Airlines cut 450,000 Canada-US seats in the first quarter of 2026 alone. The projected damage from the Canadian boycott stands at 5.7 billion dollars. “In my 37 years in the travel industry, I have never seen anything like what the Canadians have pulled off,” said Amir Eylon of Longwoods International. “This is one that’s being felt, and it’s not going away quickly.” The cause is not mysterious. Trump floated annexing Canada as the 51st state while slapping punishing tariffs on Canadian exports. Something snapped. Sixty-two percent of Canadians now say US policies have made them less likely to visit. Snowbirds are canceling Florida. Some are selling their American vacation homes. Toronto-Cancun is now Mexico’s busiest international air route. Europe and Asia Turn Away Germany, France, and the United Kingdom have each updated their official travel advisories for the United States. German visits fell 11.6 percent in 2025. France lost around 950,000 visitors. One European tour operator summed it up: “Five years ago, the United States was the go-to destination. Now, many of our clients are choosing destinations that are easier and more welcoming.” China and India, the two great growth engines of global outbound tourism, both recorded steep declines in US visits. India’s drop of 15 percent in mid-2025 was the first since the early 2000s. They are simply choosing destinations where entry does not feel like an interrogation. Chinese arrivals to Europe are projected to grow 28 percent. Indian arrivals, 9 percent. What Has Actually Happened The United States did not lose its beaches or its national parks. What it lost was its reputation as a country that wants you to come. A travel ban covering 19 countries, biometric requirements on all non-citizens, widespread detention reports, and a proposed rule requiring Visa Waiver travelers to submit five years of social media history: these are the choices that produced this outcome. The World Travel and Tourism Council estimates that social media rule alone could cost 15.7 billion dollars and 150,000 American jobs. New York City lost 4 billion dollars in tourism revenue in 2025. Nevada’s hotel industry recorded a 6.7 billion dollar shortfall. The 2026 FIFA World Cup was supposed to be the redemption arc. It isn’t. Five countries have issued travel advisories warning citizens about attending games on American soil. Hotel bookings in host cities are running behind projections. The tourists are not gone. They are in Mexico, Japan, Portugal, and Spain, spending freely in places that do not require them to prove they are not a threat. Trust is slow to build and fast to lose. Right now, the United States government is doing everything in its power to signal that it does not particularly want them here. The world, it turns out, is listening. Europe 2026 looks great ☀️🍻🍾 Stay connected, Follow Gandalv Gandalv

🚨 STAICY IS GOING MOBILE 🚨 We’re hyped to announce that the Staicy App is officially in development for iOS and Android — launching early Q4. The mobile app will exist alongside the web-based Dashboard, which is set to launch in the coming weeks. Why now? We follow the data. 📊 Market research shows that 91% of bettors use mobile apps to research and place bets. Even more eye-opening: data from 2024 revealed that over 100 million sports bettors globally access the internet exclusively from their smartphones — no desktop access at all. That number was too big to ignore. And we weren’t about to gamble on the mobile browser experience being “good enough.” We don’t cut corners. Period. The app allows Staicy to capture that massive mobile-only audience and put our tools in their hands. Clean, native, fast — the Staicy Dashboard, reimagined for your pocket. Behind the scenes? We’ve been busy. With the traction we’ve seen — and word spreading fast across the industry — private equity lined up. By the end of this year, we will have invested over $1,000,000 into the Staicy modeling, buildout, ecosystem and marketing. And we’ve done it all without selling a single $SPORT token OTC, despite very lucrative offers to do so. No dilution. No backdoor deals. Just real backing and a clean cap table. You're not just watching this happen. You're part of it. Through Staicy Rewards and staking $SPORT, early supporters play a direct role in our growth — and benefit by sharing in those profits they've helped to generate. You believed early. You locked in your spot. And now we ride together. 🤝 The app isn’t just a product... it’s an asset. One that strengthens the ecosystem, drives demand, and gives the community something few projects ever deliver: tangible value tied to real-world scale, with a real-world business. CTO Nick is leading the charge, ensuring we ship with the performance, polish, and firepower expected from a leader in the space. Staicy is going mobile and global. You're at the ground floor of something truly revolutionary. Buckle up. 🚀📲

Alaska. Putin and Trump. The meeting that was both awaited and feared. The outcome. By Roman Alekhin To discuss this further, the key point to understand is this: Two and a half hours behind closed doors is too little for leaders of nuclear powers if they are just starting a conversation—but too much if they were merely posing for cameras. This means the real work happened earlier—quiet, working discussions “behind the door” that never made it into the official communiqué. These are what stopped Trump from imposing secondary sanctions; this is where the exchange of conditions took place, terms that won’t be disclosed until both leaders decide the time is right. I suspect Syria was discussed, as well as the “Trump Bridge” (instead of Zangezur), the Middle East, and much more that isn’t yet visible to the naked eye. The public part? Pure theater. The point wasn’t to negotiate in front of the world or sign something, like Trump did with Armenia and Azerbaijan—minor players, important only tactically. The point was to send a signal: the presidents of Russia and the U.S. are shaking hands and smiling again, no knives behind their backs. This signals that a new reality has arrived, one that Europe, Ukraine, and everyone accustomed to building their worldview around the idea of “Russia’s isolation” will now have to reckon with—including those within our own countries. Trump’s comments on Fox News were deliberately vague—he’s a master at leaving room for maneuver. But the key takeaway is clear: the pressure will now shift from Moscow to Kyiv and Brussels. This is evident even in the final format—not a word about a “no-conditions” ceasefire, which was Europe and Zelensky’s main demand. This means the discussion on a final peace has been postponed, but within a clear framework: Zelensky must exit the war in a way that lets Europe save face. Russia’s red lines have long been clear: non-aligned status for Ukraine, return of Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions within their administrative borders (not the frontlines), lifting of sanctions, and real democracy in Ukraine without persecution of the Russian language or the Orthodox Church. These conditions will prolong the conflict for some time. Zelensky will need to stage a fighting retreat to the administrative borders—this will allow Europe to save face. But the logic is already visible: Ukraine’s defeat will be framed not as a “crushing” but as a “peaceful settlement.” Six months—that’s the timeframe in which we’ll see the dynamics. If the front accelerates, the deal is working. If it stalls, not all pieces are in place yet. But the main thing is already done: Russia is back in the game, not through gray negotiating formats but through a handshake on American soil—even if it’s chilly Alaska. (Though we have warm ties to the region, as seen in the wreath-laying for the “Heroes of ALSIB” and the meeting with Archbishop Alexy of Sitka and Alaska.) For the world, this is an image where smiles are worth more than signatures. For Trump—a chance to show he’s the only one who can “make peace.” For Putin—a symbolic victory: Russia is not a besieged enemy but an equal player. For Europe and Ukraine—the beginning of a painful new phase where they’ll have to accept the inevitable. In these talks, there were no winners or losers in Alaska. In Alaska, both presidents won, while those who weren’t there—lost, or at the very least, didn’t win.

The World Cup ends today. One game left. By tomorrow most of you visitors will be packing up, heading to the airport, going home. So before you go, let me say the thing I actually want to say. A few weeks ago I wrote a silly post about all the things you were discovering here. Free refills. Free water. Ice like civilized people. Chips and salsa before you even order. Air conditioning that is a fact and not a moral debate. Drive-throughs. Ranch by the gallon. The Germans standing in the HEB meat aisle in reverent silence, finally understanding why we do not have trains. Buc-ee’s, for which there are still no words. It blew up, because it was true, and because you were so delightfully stunned by all of it. Even the Wall Street Journal caught on. Their headline this week: how the US lost the World Cup and won over the world. We did not lift the trophy. But apparently we lifted something else. We even learned a few things about ourselves along the way. Like the fact that Elon Musk, the single richest man on the planet, shops at HEB. Just rolls in and queues up for fresh tortillas with everybody else. The man could buy the tortilla company, the state it is in, and the moon it sits under, and instead he is standing in line at the hot-tortilla counter like the rest of us, because that is where the good ones are. Only in America is the wealthiest human alive elbow to elbow with a mom of four at the salsa bar. That is the whole country in one aisle. And here is the part I want every one of you to hear on your way out the door. None of it was a show. We did not roll all this out because you were coming. The ice was always there. The refills were always free. The grocery stores were always the size of aircraft hangars at ten on a Tuesday. The stranger who adopted your whole section, the guy who gave you a ride, the waitress who remembered your order, the family that invited you to the cookout, that is not World Cup America. That is just America. That is Tuesday. We are exactly like this when nobody is visiting. Loud, generous, ridiculous, overfed, and genuinely thrilled you came. We will still be exactly like this tomorrow when the stands are empty and the flags come down. So thank you. To everyone who came, who sang in our streets, who cleaned our stadiums, who turned our cities orange and filled our bars and taught us your chants. You were wonderful guests, and you made a country that just turned 250 feel young and seen and loved. And to everyone who could not make it this time, the door does not close today. We meant all of it. Come whenever. The porch light stays on, the fridge stays full, and there is always room for one more at the table. You found out who we are these last few weeks. Good news. We are like this all the time. Safe travels home. Y’all come back now, you hear. 🦋

Michael Garrett - NC Senate's Viral Statement on the Bad Bunny Halftime Show “I watched #BadBunny deliver the most American halftime show I have ever seen. Then I came home and watched it again. And I am not okay. In the best possible way. He sang every single word in Spanish. Every. Single. Word. He danced through sugarcane fields built on a football field in California while the President of the United States sat somewhere calling it “disgusting.” Lady Gaga came out and did the salsa. Ricky Martin lit up the night. A couple got married on the field. He handed his Grammy, the one he won eight days ago for Album of the Year, to a little boy who looked up at him the way every child looks up when they dare to believe the world has a place for them. And then this man, this son of a truck driver and a schoolteacher from Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, stood on the biggest stage on the planet and said “God bless America.” And then he started naming them. Chile. Argentina. Uruguay. Paraguay. Bolivia. Peru. Ecuador. Brazil. Colombia. Venezuela. Panama. Costa Rica. Nicaragua. Honduras. El Salvador. Guatemala. Mexico. Cuba. Dominican Republic. Jamaica. The United States. Canada. And then, his voice breaking with everything he carries, “Mi patria, Puerto Rico. Seguimos aquí.” My homeland, Puerto Rico. We are still here. The flags came. Every single one of them. Carried across that field by dancers and musicians while the jumbotron lit up with the only words that mattered: “THE ONLY THING MORE POWERFUL THAN HATE IS LOVE.” I teared up. I’m not ashamed to say it. I sat on my couch and I wept because THAT is the America I believe in. That is the American story, not the sanitized, gated, English-only version that small and frightened people try to sell us. The REAL one. The messy, beautiful, multilingual, multicolored, courageous one. The one that has always been built by hands that speak every language and pray in every tongue and come from every corner of this hemisphere. That is the America I want Jack and Charlotte to know. That when the moment came, when the whole world was watching, a Puerto Rican kid who grew up to become the most-streamed artist on Earth stood in front of 100 million people, sang in his mother’s language, blessed every nation in the Americas, and spiked a football that read “Together, we are America” into the ground. Not with anger. With joy. With love so big it made hate look exactly as small as it is. And what did the President do? He called it “absolutely terrible.” He said “nobody understands a word this guy is saying.” He called it “a slap in the face to our Country.” The leader of the free world watched a celebration of love, culture, and everything this hemisphere has given to the world, and all he could see was something foreign. Something threatening. Something disgusting. Let that sink into your bones. The man who is supposed to represent all of us looked at the flags of our neighbors, heard the language of 500 million #Americans across this hemisphere, and felt attacked. That’s not strength. That’s not patriotism. That is poverty of the soul. Here’s what I want to say to everyone who posted about that show tonight, who shared it proudly, who turned away from Bad Bunny’s celebration because it was in Spanish and the flags weren’t only red, white, and blue: Your children will see those posts. Your grandchildren will find them. The internet doesn’t forget. And one day, when the history of this moment is written, when our kids and their kids look back at 2026 the way we look back at the people who stood on the wrong side of every bridge and every march and every moment that mattered, they will know exactly where you stood. They will see who chose Kid Rock over a hemisphere of flags. They will see who called love “disgusting.” And they will carry that knowledge the way all of us carry the knowledge of what our ancestors did when they were tested. The only thing more powerful than hate is love”
