Mark Carney made Canadians promises. In the name of getting elected. Those promises have been broken. Our tariffs went up from 25% to 35%. Canada is still struggling to make a deal. The Liberals have tabled nearly half a trillion in spending, with no timeline to balance the budget and no parliamentary approval. We are spending at record levels. With no clear path or budget in sight. Carney has betrayed Canadians. Something that the Liberals consistently do.

Carney & the Liberals, failed. We have no deal with the US. Now, Trump said the US doesn’t need CUSMA. So Carney goes China. To decouple our economy from the US. The likely outcome: -tariffs on Chinese EVs will be dropped -counter-tariffs on Canola will be dropped -Carney will likely invite/allow them to invest tens of billions on oil/tanker/gas infrastructure going to China -China ownership in key oil/gas/infrastructure Carney is getting warm with the same regime that interfered in our elections & helped get him elected. He failed in getting a deal with the US. So now he’s prioritizing China over the US. And the US is preparing for this, as demonstrated by their interest in Venezuelan oil and Potash from Belarus.

Six days after Trump announced tariffs, Mark Carney moved his company headquarters out of Canada to New York City, right around the corner from Trump Tower. While Canadians are worried about losing their jobs, Mark Carney was moving jobs to the US. Carney’s leadership is weak, compromised and conflicted and Trump wants to exploit it. After 10 years in power the Liberals have given us the weakest economy in the G7 and driven a half-trillion dollars of investment from Canada to the United States.
