Carson Hocevar gave the PERFECT analogy for Tyler Reddick pulling over.

But that’s not what happened… Reddick messed up… was passed by Heim… ran him down… doored him… let him go…. Then ran him down again as the tire blew…. Hocevar is a true dipshit

Why did you capitalize the word perfect because this is a terrible analogy. Reddick’s decision to correct his mistake does not show in the least bit that winning is not important. It shows that racing and winning clean is more of an achievement to him, and his team, than winning any other way. Reddick is a great race car driver. He has the talent and skill to charge back from his mistake, get alongside and race Heim door to door without contact, and then pass him clean for the win. And as a fan of racing, there ain’t a chance in hell I’m turning my TV off to miss watching that.

This is like Ernie Irvan complaining about Mark Martin

If we are going to call a spade a spade. When you quit at Berlin you showed winning isn’t important to fans as well.

This is the only take I’d expect from a guy who made his career junking other drivers.

I disagree. Reddick still had time to win. Before the tire went down he was right back on Heims ass

Not really, cause what if Reddick didn't have a tire issue and was able to charge back? That's called showing respect to a teammate and fellow competitor. Race is never over until it's over, Carson.

We get it. If you ever win a Daytona 500 it will be like Austin Dillon and not Tyler Reddick.

I agree, reddick pulling over was soft as fuck

This guy is clueless, most fans appreciated what Reddick did, but this guy's interpretation was that "winning isn't that important". This is what happens when you reward people for dumping people for a win. This guy is high off of his own ass fumes.

Not everyone is a dirty driver like you buddy

He’s right, which is basically what I did. When he gave the lead to the race away, I was done. You don’t do that!!

He's 100% right. That move was worse than Heim's move cuz at least Heim is trying to win

Man a lot of you guys a dorks huh? I agree with Carson. Shit happens but why give up a win……

@DarenStoltzfus This guy has a long way to go. All hat, no cattle.

Ridiculous argument. Reddick was pure class. Door slamming someone, let alone a teammate, does not show you "wanted it more." That's a bush league way to pass someone. The racers who actually face personal and financial consequences of driving through other people know this.

Also if it were you and not Heim you wouldn’t have got the same grace, Heim is respected, you are NOT

I mean this whole heartedly, you are a dumbass @CarsonHocevar Good driver most of the time, but complete dumbass.

Bad take and bad analogy. If you’re an athlete you know about sportsmanship. A dirty block in basketball? Bad screen maybe. I get where he’s coming from but if you’re a true sportsman just because you can do something that doesn’t mean you should.

He's right

This is called big picture racing. You don’t want to cause problems with a new teammate that is going to be for years. If this hadn’t been a teammate things would be different.

I don’t think reddick needed to pull over.

Dude is from Wisconsin go fucking talk to Kenseth.

Points racing fucking sucks. We did not miss it at all. Bring back the playoffs. Ratings are down for a reason.

Agree. Race as hard as you can to the finish line. I get it's your teammate, but your teammates is still your competition. Make them earn it.

Carson doesn’t get it because he has never and will never race anyone with respect. He has grown up in a NASCAR that only rewards aggressiveness and disrespect. Not saying he’s wrong, but he shouldn’t cry when people do it to him. But don’t knock Tyler for racing with respect

I think his take was pretty spot on.

"There's a whole lot more to racing than just winning." Did no one watch Cars?

Exactly 🤣💯 perfect

I really wanted to hear Dale's reaction to the San Diego weekend, but I don't gaf what this dipshit has to say. Sorry, but I'll skip this episode

What was Reddick supposed to do? He ran till his car couldn’t anymore, and then the tire let go? Was he supposed to crash his teammate lmao?

I got that reference instantly lmao

Hurricane knows ball

C'MON ALEX, IT'S THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!
