Corey Heim's answer when asked about Carson Hocevar giving him the finger: "I was blocking him, not really too bad I thought. I mean, I was trying to just hold my position and I never threw, like, a bad block. I was just trying to protect my entry, and he didn't like it. But he lost and I won, so I don't really care." Heim maintained that his blocking had nothing to do with Hocevar being behind him and that he was just trying to do whatever he could to keep track position, given how important it was, before his green flag stop. When asked if he considers Heim his rival, Heim asked this: "Where did he finish today?" "Ninth." "You guys love talking about a guy who finished ninth. I mean, holy crap." Heim said he isn't worried about the narrative concerning him and Hocevar and is focused on himself.

Jeremy Lin has announced his retirement from basketball today. I vividly recall watching every Linsanity game. It was UNREAL. During his streak, Kobe was asked about Lin and said, “Who is this kid?” A week later, Lin scored 38 points and had 7 assists against the Lakers, handing Kobe a loss 😮 It feels like yesterday when I was in my college dorm’s cafeteria, laptop open, watching Lin hit the buzzer-beater against the Raptors. I stood up shouting, euphoric, while everyone stared like I was crazy 😂 Thank you, Jeremy, for inspiring me and others. You showed us ANYTHING is possible with hard work and ignoring doubters 🫡
