There's a hidden meaning to this commercial. Fred Flintstone, Thundarr, & Chicken represent the ages of Cartoon Network's growth. Fred, Scooby, & Judy=CN's Origins. Thundarr & Speed Racer=CN's branching out. Chicken=CN making its own shows.

"Wise Papa Smurf, corrupted by his own power. CAN NO LEADER GO UNTAINTED?" That's still a funny line. And Fred's side eye is priceless. 🤣

Wow I haven’t thought about this commercial since I was nine years old. This just brought me back.
