I was 17 and sleeping in a park in Burlington Vermont when I heard a hippy named Nature Boy belting this tune out. I had heard it before but even Bob himself didn’t touch me in the same way this kid did on that rainy fall morning waiting for Phish tour start. I have since found him and told him how he inspired my journey. There was just something in his voice when I heard him sing it, I felt I can do that too.
