They didn't give Africa more money, they gave their warrant chiefs money to keep things how they are. They gave more money the worse they could make it.

Western powers dont want africa to have structure..40% of earth's minerals reserves are in africa and a dysfunctional africa is easier to control than a united one

The claim that a weak and divided Africa is more easily influenced by outside forces may have some merit. However, the West cannot be solely held responsible for Africa's problems. Inadequate leadership, corruption, weak institutions, and internal conflicts all have a significant impact. Africa would have far more negotiating power over its enormous mineral wealth if it were united, well-governed, and economically integrated.

Who put those people in power? Who funds the coups and assassinates political leaders who challenge them and fight for Africa's unity? Who took over 90% of africa then split it up how ever they wanted with no regard of pre established zones leading to the internal conflicts? There are many more questions like this but you get my point..while yes africa does hold some responsibility. governments are no longer fully autonomous like in the past and rely on each other. which is why we have world powers now..the powers that took over africa and basically halted the indigenous people's advancements for their own resource extraction. Are still doing the same thing today but through political influence and power rather than colonization and violence.

You're right to ask those questions. Africa must accept responsibility for its failures, but let us not pretend that corruption and poor leadership began at the start. Who drew the border? Who established and supported regimes that benefited foreign interests? Who benefited from Africa's resources over generations? Although the West no longer has formal colonial control over Africa, it can still wield power through money, politics, military alliances, and economic interests. Africa's response should be unity, strong institutions, accountable leadership, and control over its own resources rather than permanent reliance on any foreign power.

Yes, all the questions you asked can all be pointed back to foreign powers..they supported the political leaders they wanted and killed the ones they didnt @grok has any world powers like USA or France ever funded coups or helped assassinate african political leaders who tried to bring Unity to africa? Which countries and is there any evidence to prove it?

Yes. US CIA plotted Lumumba's assassination (Congo 1961; Church Committee, FRUS docs show poison plans, Eisenhower authorization, coup support). CIA aided Nkrumah's 1966 Ghana overthrow (Stockwell memoir, contacts/budget for plotters). France faced strong suspicions over Sankara (Burkina 1987) via aid cuts and allies, but released archives yield no definitive proof.

They’re not poor. They’re the richest continent in the world. The governments are corrupt and sell their natural resources to western nations fund their own lives while the citizens suffer. It’s what happened to venezuela.

Africa is poor because the black ppl doesn't have the minimum IQ or self consciousness required to build a 1st world country & pull ourselves out of poverty.... There's no problem in the world that's not rooted in ignorance

Another piece of nonsense from the sources that crippled the African Institute. Leave African resources alone; stop giving aid and loans. Stop colonial taxes, stop sponsoring terrorism, let it control its $ system. Let them develop their natural resources into finished products.

Western aid to Africa isn't in the form of $1 trillion cash. Western aid also has strings attached for the governments. You should actually look into what Western aid to Africa has actually been.

Fuck this white colonial garbage! No one ever gave aid to Africa! It was all bribes to keep losers loyal to the white colonial powers in power to keep on sucking Africa dry.

This is exactly why when a store asks me to "round up for a charity", I say "I know nothing about that charity, how do I know the money goes to what they say it's for?" Because this is a bigger problem than I'd like to believe

This is nonsense propaganda. If u actually compare the pledged amount vs what actually hits the projects u will see that only ~10% gets there. Most of it pays their consultants and bribes. The payback is minerals that Africa has. We know how they operate.

most dollars floating to africa are Industrial subsidies for western companies. its more like every dollar we send doubles or tripples and comes back to our countries.

There WERE functioning systems in Africa. Then the colonial powers abandoned their duties and in some cases even turned against their former citizens. Zimbabwe was functional just 40 years ago. South Africa was a nuclear power just 30 years ago.

Absolute bullshit! Europe & its tentacles steal from Africa then 're-invest' a very small portion (<5%) of the loot ONLY to perpetuate their vicious cycle of thievery. This 're-investment' termed aid is given to their selected African 'leaders' who they co-opted in this racket.

Pretty much, but the emphasis on "taxes" is incorrect; taxes are one way to maintain the system, but private systems also exist and, in most cases, work better. The rest of the video is very based.

A half-truth is worse than a lie. European "benefactors" are transferring dirty industries to Africa, so no, free food isn't destroying farmers. Farmers are being destroyed by European/American/China capitalists. Charity is good, but this isn't solve the problem

We gave South Africa a system. But the problem with South Africa isn't systems. The problem is blacks. Our systems do not work for blacks, because blacks aren't like us. It is as simple as that.

Not an excuse…but it is important to understand that the majority of that “Trillion dollars” was actually spent in the Western countries that sent it. Most charities take 60-80% of donations for their overhead.
