those are awesome are they legal in the US though? I don't know much about gun laws, but I thought "sawed-off" and other short-barrel shotguns were illegal because of the spread

Generally people don’t do this to over and understand because of the cost. Much more economical to saw off a side by side for $300 than an over under for +$1200.
