You can tell a lot of people in the comments either don't have a cat or have never had the right cat for themselves in their lives. This is normal behavior among cat owners who have a *really* good relationship with their cats and who constantly get cute rage over them. That's why the cat isn't doing anything. Cats are very independent and have strong opinions about what they want or don't want, so if a cat doesn't like or approve of something in any way, even slightly, it'll complain in some way and then walk away.
