Have a cat that loved my husband but hated me! (And I’m a cat person!). Then my husband died and the cat finally took up with me after a while when she finally accepted husband was gone. She now sleeps beside me like she used to do with my husband.

Her name is Şıpıdık and is extremely jealous of her father. They even had to consult to a vet about it. Last I heard, Şıpıdık is slowly getting used to her mom again.
