$With great sadness, informing all that our elderly Veteran from Indian Navy Nanjunda Sir, breathed his late last night, in the ICU of the District hospital in Tumkur. After all tests last month, doctors had said his heart is weak and surgery on the fractured leg was ruled out. His health did not improve despite nutrition and medical care in the old age home and he was readmitted to the ICU last week where he seemed to be improving. Good samaritan Mahesh kept me informed and the best possible was done under the circumstances but God willed otherwise. 💔🙏 Together, we must accept and feel blessed to have been able to make his last days comfortable. Some of you had supported financially and of the Rs 56000 received, Mahesh is now left with Rs 1500. Last month, Nanjunda Sir had also told me he needed our support for his last rites and the same is being done by us as per his wishes. Farewell Sir. Thank you for your service to the nation. Om Shanti 🙏$
