my cat loves hugs, the thing with cats is it's against their instincts to feel trapped as if they were caught as prey to a predator so they kinda dont like it, but at the same time obviously they like it a little, so u can get a good 15-20 second hug but that's pushing it

I usually do this whenever I got my cat laying up high on my chest and kind of over my shoulder. Nothing beats kitty hugs!

I miss my cats who let me hug them. All I have left is a very skittish one who only lets me pet her since she doesn't have her brothers to cuddle up with (she was a rescue who was abused as a kitten and didn't let me pet her more than once a year until she was about 15).
