This is the moment when Israeli Arab Yoseph Haddad was thrown out of the Oxford Union after people stamped on the photo of Israeli Arabs who are being held hostage. This is the worst art restoration in history. An 81-year-old woman with no training did it. In broad daylight. With the priest's permission. And nobody stopped her. The original was called Ecce Homo, a small fresco of Christ crowned with thorns, painted around 1930 by the Spanish artist Elías García Martínez straight onto the wall of a church in Borja, in northeastern Spain. After eighty years the damp in the walls had begun to eat the paint away, so in 2012 a parishioner named Cecilia Giménez decided to save it. She was 81, she had loved painting all her life, but she had no training whatsoever. What she left on the wall was a blurred and wide-eyed face staring out of the plaster. When the town saw it, officials assumed the church had been vandalised, and reportedly considered taking legal action. Then they found out it was Cecilia. She could not understand the fuss. "The priest knew it," she told Spanish television. "I've never tried to do anything hidden." She also insisted she had not even finished. She had left the paint to dry and gone away for two weeks, intending to come back and complete the job. She never got the chance... Within days the image had crossed the planet. The internet named it Ecce Mono, and Monkey Jesus, and Potato Jesus, and turned it into thousands of memes. Not everyone was laughing. For the people who prayed in that church, it was not a joke at all. Some of them called it a desecration, and some called it blasphemy. Whatever the world saw in the image, they had lost the face they had knelt in front of all their lives. And people now travel across the world to see the thing that replaced it. In the year after the "restoration", around 57,000 visitors came to Borja, a town most of them could not have found on a map. "Indian Army man harassed a girl." 🚨🇮🇳 Being a girl is not easy in India, and public spaces often make it even more unsafe. This incident is an example of that. A girl, Manjusha Day, was traveling on a train from Silchar to Guwahati when she faced an uncomfortable situation. A man stood near the door of the coach for hours, continuously staring at her and making gestures that made her uneasy. She explained the whole incident: "What was supposed to be a normal 12-hour train journey from Silchar to Guwahati turned into a very uncomfortable experience. I was traveling with my friend when we noticed a man standing near the door of our coach for hours, constantly staring at me and making signals that made me feel uneasy. We tried to ignore him at first, but the situation became disturbing and I started to feel unsafe. Eventually, I informed the TT. When questioned, the man claimed he was standing there because he felt cold, but he had been there for a long time staring at us. Because of this, I couldn't sleep the entire night and the journey became stressful. It reminded me how important it is to speak up when something feels wrong during travel. The girl claimed that he holds an official position in the Indian Army. This is more shameful. Being in the Army also does not justify harassing a woman, nor does it reduce the seriousness of such behaviour.

From VICTIM to VICTORY… My attention has been drawn to the UNFORTUNATE CRITICISM directed at the woman in the video circulating on social media, who did not receive USD100 like other airport staff during my recent visit to VICTORIA FALLS. As I prepared to board my private jet back to Harare in the company of my BEAUTIFUL and beloved partner, I felt deeply moved by the airport staff who were on duty, sacrificing time with their families during Christmas time. Out of gratitude and compassion, I decided to bless the STAFF wearing green reflective vests with USD100 each as a small token of appreciation. Unfortunately, this kind gesture was MISUNDERSTOOD, and other non-staff members, including the woman in question, began to join in, leading to the regrettable incident. In the video, one of the women mistakenly received USD100 before I realized the group included non-airport employees. When I stopped giving out the money, the woman in the pink top and blue jeans was unfortunately left out, despite making frantic requests to also get the USD. This incident has REGRETTABLY subjected her to ONLINE RIDICULE and DEROGATORY comments. I personally don’t know this woman, but I wish to extend my HEARTFELT apology for the public embarrassment she has endured, as well as to her FAMILY AND HUSBAND, if she is married. I understand her actions. I would have done exactly the same thing if I saw a MILLIONAIRE giving money in that context. This woman simply decided to seize the OPPORTUNITY out of hope and necessity. To this woman, I want you to know that in life, what may seem like a moment of HUMILIATION can become a point of BREAKTHROUGH and certain trials often lead to triumphs and greater opportunities. This is a tweet out to the Congress leadership to ask if they are endorsing this sort of behavior on a TV debate or if this mindset is approved by the higher ups. There has been a lot of chatter about women, their dressing, moral Policing, survivor and victim blaming in Telangana / AP after an actor shamed a co actor in a Film event, using cuss words, and then in general on women who don’t dress modestly in public events. It was called an act of ‘concern’. What followed was a lot of Television channels panels with abuse and cuss words - one would have never imagined seeing this on a mainstream TV / News channel. A lot of women responded saying policing women’s clothes is not going to stop sexual assault. This lady here is reportedly, a Congress politician. She says if the actress (she is referring to) has guts, she has to come out in public with a bikini without security guards. The men on the road will eventually want to rape her and she should get raped, shut up and sit at home - she better not dare / bother going to the police station. And if she dares, whatever “half” clothes are left on her body will also be removed and …. I haven’t watched the entire video - however, the scenario here and how they are referring to women in public spaces, in the medi and the level of abuse is setting a dangerous precedent, justifying sexual assault and abuse against children, old women and the dead, saying men are unable to control themselves and therefore, women’s ‘immodest’ clothing is the reason for rapes on kids. We need better politicians and better leaders. This is the pits.

Let’s be absolutely clear with the facts from today’s “march against the far right” which I attended from the start. 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 1. These were left-wing organisations from all over the UK. Every union under the sun was in attendance. National Education Union are definitely indoctrinating children within the teacher and school environment, just look at their presence today. It is very concerning. Watch what they teach your kids. They, as an education union, along with Unite the union: join a union, were also fighting over who got to be at the front of the march today, thanks to two lesbian powerhouses not having it. Comedy gold 😂 2. The second video shows over 100 coaches being used to bus in all these so-called “concerned citizens” on organised transport. They are all part of a left-wing narrative which just doesn’t work anymore, we see exactly what they are doing. That was the entire left-wing loony left in attendance. That’s it. That’s them. This is a major point! We have millions who know what’s right, and the left wing in this country is about to get the shock of their lives in the next elections, swept off the map. That was a panic march. They know it’s coming! 3. There was no working class at this march! Fact! It was all middle and upper class people who attend the usual Palestine marches and Palestine Action events. They hate the Union Jack flag and they hate the working class. This was a stunt by the well-organised unions to pretend the country is behind them which it is not. And that was clear as day to witness today. Also a clear panic march. 4. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Thursday after she allegedly went off on law enforcement in a profanity-ridden tirade at Charleston International Airport in South Carolina. Police were to meet with Mace at 6:30 a.m. EDT to escort her from the curb to her flight, according to a police report. Officers were told she would arrive in a white BMW, but they were told at 6:35 a.m. that she would be arriving late. While they never saw the car, dispatchers told the officers before 7 a.m. that she was at the entrance for the Known Crewmember program, the report stated. The officers approached her, “and she immediately began loudly cursing and making derogatory comments to us and about the department,” according to the report. “She repeatedly stated we were ‘F‑‑‑ing incompetent,’ and ‘this is no way to treat a f‑‑‑ing U.S. Representative,’” the report read. “She also said we would never treat [Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.)] like this.” She was allegedly “cursing and complaining,” as well as yelling into her phone, during the walk to the gate, police wrote. This continued while waiting at the gate for several minutes before she boarded her flight. “After the aircraft departed the gate, the American Airlines Gate Agent approached us and stated he was in disbelief regarding her behavior,” according to the report. “He implied that a U.S. Representative should not be acting the way she was.” The officer who wrote the report said they reviewed the video of the curb where she was expected to arrive and did not see a white BMW arrive at the expected time. A gray or silver BMW appeared at 6:51 a.m. at the atrium crosswalk, the officer wrote. This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem. This took place while UNRWA and other UN Agencies’ staff were on the compound. While there were no casualties among our staff, the fire caused extensive damage to the outdoor areas. Over the past months, UN staff have regularly been subjected to harassment and intimidation. Our compound has been seriously vandalized and damaged. On several occasions, Israeli extremists threatened our staff with guns. It is the responsibility of the State of Israel as an occupying power to ensure that United Nations personnel and facilities are protected at all times. UN staff, premises and operations should be protected at all times in line with international law. I call on all those who have influence to put an end to these attacks and hold all those responsible accountable. The perpetrators of these attacks must be investigated and those responsible must be held accountable. Anything less will set a new dangerous standard.

Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

During this Press Conference I was at the FBI office with my agents working on a cartel prosecution. We all stopped to watch with amazement as Comey was initially eviscerating HRC’s unlawful conduct, but as we all now know he eventually stated “no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case!” I remember turning towards my agents and saying “well, I guess I’m an unreasonable Prosecutor . . .” I knew in that moment at my deepest core, based on years of prosecutorial experience and instinct in federal law enforcement, that the reason Comey cleared HRC had nothing to do with the prosecutability of that fact pattern - it was political interference in its most corrupt form. And here’s why. Comey had NO authority to decline prosecution. At the end of the day, he was “just a cop” so to speak. His ONLY authority was to turn the investigation over to the DOJ which has sole discretion on who to prosecute, or not. He can make a recommendation, but not a decision to not prosecute, especially based on the reason stated. I am tired of being told how to think by people that completely lack morals and couldn’t care less.
