wait what?? Seedance 2.0 went crazy with this prompt 🦾 This is real early 2000s home video footage shot on a VHS camcorder at a crowded public swimming pool. The video has the typical grain, color, and soft quality of consumer video from that era. The camera is very shaky and handheld, filming from the side of the pool. On the diving board there is a very fat man wearing a homemade jetpack made out of what looks like metal tubes and bottles strapped to his back. A 21-year-old woman was allegedly murdered in broad daylight at the BC Road bus stand in Bantwal taluk of Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday evening, sending shockwaves across Karnataka. She was 81, she had loved painting all her life, but she had no training whatsoever. What she left on the wall was a blurred and wide-eyed face staring out of the plaster. When the town saw it, officials assumed the church had been vandalised, and reportedly considered taking legal action. Then they found out it was Cecilia. She could not understand the fuss. "The priest knew it," she told Spanish television. "I've never tried to do anything hidden." She also insisted she had not even finished. She had left the paint to dry and gone away for two weeks, intending to come back and complete the job. She never got the chance... Within days the image had crossed the planet. The internet named it Ecce Mono, and Monkey Jesus, and Potato Jesus, and turned it into thousands of memes. Not everyone was laughing. "Indian Army man harassed a girl." 🚨🇮🇳 Being a girl is not easy in India, and public spaces often make it even more unsafe. This incident is an example of that. A girl, Manjusha Day, was traveling on a train from Silchar to Guwahati when she faced an uncomfortable situation. A man stood near the door of the coach for hours, continuously staring at her and making gestures that made her uneasy. From VICTIM to VICTORY… My attention has been drawn to the UNFORTUNATE CRITICISM directed at the woman in the video circulating on social media, who did not receive USD100 like other airport staff during my recent visit to VICTORIA FALLS. As I prepared to board my private jet back to Harare in the company of my BEAUTIFUL and beloved partner, I felt deeply moved by the airport staff who were on duty, sacrificing time with their families during Christmas time. Out of gratitude and compassion, I decided to bless the STAFF wearing green reflective vests with USD100 each as a small token of appreciation. Unfortunately, this kind gesture was MISUNDERSTOOD, and other non-staff members, including the woman in question, began to join in, leading to the regrettable incident. In the video, one of the women mistakenly received USD100 before I realized the group included non-airport employees. When I stopped giving out the money, the woman in the pink top and blue jeans was unfortunately left out, despite making frantic requests to also get the USD. This incident has REGRETTABLY subjected her to ONLINE RIDICULE and DEROGATORY comments. I personally don’t know this woman, but I wish to extend my HEARTFELT apology for the public embarrassment she has endured, as well as to her FAMILY AND HUSBAND, if she is married. I understand her actions. I would have done exactly the same thing if I saw a MILLIONAIRE giving money in that context. This woman simply decided to seize the OPPORTUNITY out of hope and necessity. This is a tweet out to the Congress leadership to ask if they are endorsing this sort of behavior on a TV debate or if this mindset is approved by the higher ups. There has been a lot of chatter about women, their dressing, moral Policing, survivor and victim blaming in Telangana / AP after an actor shamed a co actor in a Film event, using cuss words, and then in general on women who don’t dress modestly in public events. It was called an act of ‘concern’. What followed was a lot of Television channels panels with abuse and cuss words - one would have never imagined seeing this on a mainstream TV / News channel. A lot of women responded saying policing women’s clothes is not going to stop sexual assault. This lady here is reportedly, a Congress politician. She says if the actress (she is referring to) has guts, she has to come out in public with a bikini without security guards. The men on the road will eventually want to rape her and she should get raped, shut up and sit at home - she better not dare / bother going to the police station. And if she dares, whatever “half” clothes are left on her body will also be removed and …. I haven’t watched the entire video - however, the scenario here and how they are referring to women in public spaces, in the medi and the level of abuse is setting a dangerous precedent, justifying sexual assault and abuse against children, old women and the dead, saying men are unable to control themselves and therefore, women’s ‘immodest’ clothing is the reason for rapes on kids. Let her lease her own plane and pay for security instead of expecting tax payers to treat her like an elitist. 😡 Charleston County Aviation Authority police officers filed an incident report in connection with Rep. Nancy Mace (R-S.C.) on Thursday after she allegedly went off on law enforcement in a profanity-ridden tirade at Charleston International Airport in South Carolina. Police were to meet with Mace at 6:30 a.m. EDT to escort her from the curb to her flight, according to a police report. Officers were told she would arrive in a white BMW, but they were told at 6:35 a.m. that she would be arriving late. While they never saw the car, dispatchers told the officers before 7 a.m. that she was at the entrance for the Known Crewmember program, the report stated. The officers approached her, “and she immediately began loudly cursing and making derogatory comments to us and about the department,” according to the report. “She repeatedly stated we were ‘F‑‑‑ing incompetent,’ and ‘this is no way to treat a f‑‑‑ing U.S. Representative,’” the report read. “She also said we would never treat [Sen. Tim Scott (R-S.C.)] like this.” She was allegedly “cursing and complaining,” as well as yelling into her phone, during the walk to the gate, police wrote. The BJP has tried to divide Indians on basis of religion, caste, region and language. They have also misused Central agencies as a threat to weaken opposition and institutions. Now that defeat is imminent the country is being divided into two major camps - those who have the right to vote and those whose vote they want to steal. BJP is afraid of the poor people who have turned against them - the Dalits, tribals, OBCs and minorities. Hence, they want to take away their vote. Today, if they take away the vote of 13 crore or more citizens - at a time when the population of the country is growing, it will be the single largest deprivation exercise on planet earth. It is more than the population of many a country. We are setting up a strange context where after number of voters has gone up in every single election in India since 1952, including last three General elections when Modi came to power, the total number of voters in India will come down for next polls. But the people of India won’t allow it. This is not a fight of Congress party alone or even INDIA alliance but of our country’s future. India will stand for the right of every Indian to vote. This evening, Israeli residents set fire twice to the perimeter of the UNRWA Headquarters in occupied East Jerusalem. This took place while UNRWA and other UN Agencies’ staff were on the compound. While there were no casualties among our staff, the fire caused extensive damage to the outdoor areas. The UNRWA headquarters has on its grounds a petrol and diesel station for the Agency’s fleet of cars. Our director with the help of other staff had to put out the fire themselves as it took the Israeli fire extinguishers and police a while before they turned up. A crowd accompanied by armed men were witnessed outside the compound chanting “Burn down the United Nations” (see video below 👇 from Israeli media). This is an outrageous development. Once again, the lives of UN staff were at a serious risk. In light of this second appalling incident in less than a week, I have taken the decision to close down our coumpound until proper security is restored. Over the past two months, Israeli extremists have been staging protests outside the UNRWA compound in Jerusalem, called by an elected member of the Jerusalem municipality. This week, the protest became violent when demonstrators threw stones at UN staff and at the buildings of the compound. Over the past months, UN staff have regularly been subjected to harassment and intimidation. Our compound has been seriously vandalized and damaged. On several occasions, Israeli extremists threatened our staff with guns. It is the responsibility of the State of Israel as an occupying power to ensure that United Nations personnel and facilities are protected at all times. UN staff, premises and operations should be protected at all times in line with international law. I call on all those who have influence to put an end to these attacks and hold all those responsible accountable. The perpetrators of these attacks must be investigated and those responsible must be held accountable. Anything less will set a new dangerous standard.

Gm. Thank you to those who asked after OXBER FLYER. Feels surreal to say, but sadly we lost her this morning. She got loose at Chester before her first race yesterday and suffered a catastrophic skull fracture. Both the stall handling team and the vets at Chester were brilliant in helping her feel comfortable straight away, as well as the staff at Newmarket Equine Hospital who watched over her all night. Her injury was such that she couldn’t eat or drink and the right thing to do was put her to sleep. An easy decision, which was 100% best for her, but a heartbreaking one as I bred her myself. I was the first human she saw. From Jim Crowley telling me to go to MOHAATHER, taking the mare to Shadwell, to foaling her down myself at home, I was with her every step of the way until she went off to become a racehorse. And she would have been a racehorse. We expected a good run yesterday, the first of a couple we targeted for the back end of the season. She worked with the older horses at home and showed Charlie Clover enough for him to get us all excited. Sad we’ll never get to see what she was capable of. A massive thank you to everyone who helped yesterday, especially the Chester stall handlers. In a horrible situation, everyone involved did everything they possibly could for her. Although we’re reeling, the show goes on and the newsletter will follow. JT x

Why Hyderabad Drowns After A 20min Rain? I may not have a simple answer to this complex question but was in Raidurgam area yesterday and this what I saw. This is right next to the Raidurgam metro. It is like the IT hub of Hyderabad and look at the state of things here. Roads are being dug to lay drainage pipes. Locals told me it has been close to a year since they started digging. The debris is just lying on the road, existing drainage seems to be damaged and all the sewer is flowing on to the main road. To make things worse, many are parking right on the road making the congested area much more difficult to commute. There is no parking space at Raidurgam Metro. If someone wants to take the metro, they have to arrive on a separate vehicle to reach. Plus there are a million autos lined up on the road. Traffic police who hide behind trees or corner you in some random street won’t regulate traffic on the main roads. They won’t show a solution to park vehicles but will collect challans. Why are you collecting challans without any space being earmarked for parking? Do you expect people to jump off a parachute and get into a metro? We look at China, Japan with their advanced technology of laying roads in a day and will be wowed. Here governments talk about AI city, Future City and such money minting projects for the government and still get wowed. Why isn’t AI or advanced technology being used to repair roads, drainages or maintain infrastructure in the existing city??? Why this craze to call the existing city a dump and then pumping huge public money into a nonexistent Future City? Why is governance driven by real estate ambitions of a few politicians?

Back at my mom’s house I was sitting in the living room playing video games in my my underwear, I was around 12 years old and ever body was working until about 5pm so I still had a few hours before anybody was there. I usually kept the doors locked but the front door wasn’t locked, I just didn’t know that yet. I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and a drink. I didn’t know that a family of three people just walked into the house. I came back holding a bag of chips and a drink and I saw two people standing there and another one just sitting on the couch like they were supposed to be there. My 12 year old brain couldn’t comprehend what was happening and I ran out of the house and to the neighbors house. I finally calmed down and told her what was happening, she grabbed her husband and went over there, I’m surprised they didn’t call the police first. The people in the house told the neighbor that they were friends of my dad and they were visiting from Pittsburgh. My neighbor called my dad at the restaurant and confirmed he knew them. He ended up leaving the restaurant and coming back early. His friends confused what days he was off from work and decided to come by and visit unannounced. He also told them it wasn’t a good idea to just walk in and that even though they were friends they should always knock on the door. I had never met these people before so I thought it was some kind of home invasion, it scared me. Back at my mom’s house I was sitting in the living room playing video games in my my underwear, I was around 12 years old and ever body was working until about 5pm so I still had a few hours before anybody was there. I usually kept the doors locked but the front door wasn’t locked, I just didn’t know that yet. I walked into the kitchen to grab a snack and a drink. I didn’t know that a family of three people just walked into the house. I came back holding a bag of chips and a drink and I saw two people standing there and another one just sitting on the couch like they were supposed to be there. My 12 year old brain couldn’t comprehend what was happening and I ran out of the house and to the neighbors house. I finally calmed down and told her what was happening, she grabbed her husband and went over there, I’m surprised they didn’t call the police first. The people in the house told the neighbor that they were friends of my dad and they were visiting from Pittsburgh. My neighbor called my dad at the restaurant and confirmed he knew them. He ended up leaving the restaurant and coming back early. His friends confused what days he was off from work and decided to come by and visit unannounced. He also told them it wasn’t a good idea to just walk in and that even though they were friends they should always knock on the door. I had never met these people before so I thought it was some kind of home invasion, it scared me. But from that point on I always made sure the doors were locked and that I was dressed decently just in case of unexpected visitors.
