This is the kind of thing that pisses me off about society today. People are more than happy to film morally abhorrent behaviours, but no one challenges it. We only have ourselves to blame if everyone turns a blind eye to blatant wrongdoing. I'll put this in context with personal experience. Back in the 80's my grandma was in her 70's and a teenager was riding his bike down the pavement towards her. She stuck her walking stick through the spokes of his front wheel and went over the handlebars. She gave him a bollocking and he apologised and disappeared with his tail between his legs. At this point in her life she was still riding her bike on the road into town and was fully aware that there was no need to be on the pavement. Society has lost all respect for European values and morality. It starts with simple, inconsequential things and grows. If you watch a kid throw a wrapper on the floor, ask him to pick it up. If no one ever questions minor behaviours it reinforces a sense of entitlement and impunity. We have arrived at a situation where certain sectors of society feel invincible and rely on fear to do what they want. This will only get worse if no one is prepared to call out the small examples of bad behaviour.
