From the media tent: CB Christian Gonzalez seems tired of answering questions about his contract status … and shares some frustration on the overall situation while highlighting the theme of focusing on Week 1. Parts of the Q&A: Question: How frustrating is it on your part that no contract extension has been reached? Christian Gonzalez: “It’s frustrating, but I’m focused on the season. I’m focused on here now.” Question: Are you still optimistic things could get done? Gonzalez: “I’m focused on Week 1 at this point. I mean, it’s been all offseason …” Question: Are you prepared to play Week 1 if a deal isn’t reached? Gonzalez: “I’m focused on today, this practice, and we’ll see where we go.”

Dr. Maalouf ‏ Egypt does NOT deserve to play in FIFA at all. At present they are torturing Said Abdelrazek and refusing him medical care for leaving Islam and becoming a Christian. He is detained in the 10th of Ramdan Prison where detainees regularly pass away due to medical neglect

Hudler is 100% right. This slide was bush league. Spikes not even attempting to find the bag, not even pointing at the bag, and going straight into India’s knee. No place for that in the game. #FountainsUp Kansas City Royals

Brian Fleury explained the reason for the rotation at right guard. "It's not an indictment of Christian [Haynes] at all. The thought is Beau [Stephens] at some point might have to play in a much larger role, and we'd hate for that to be his first experience."

🚨🇮🇷 HERAVI SQUARE ERUPTS: TEHRAN CHANTS “FOR IRAN” AS REVOLUTION BUILDS Today at Heravi Square, crowds gathered shoulder to shoulder in the heart of Tehran, chanting in unison for Iran, not the regime. From north Tehran to the working-class south, the message is spreading, and it’s a nationwide call for a new Iran. When unity like this floods the capital, even the regime’s bullets can’t silence the people forever. Source: People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK)

In his Easter message Nigel Farage MP refers to Judeo-Christian values. Easter celebrates and commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Something the Jews at best don’t believe in and at worst the Talmud claims Jesus is spending eternity in boiling hot excrement. Not to mention the Jews were expelled from Britain for nearly four centuries and have never made up more than 1% of the population so I’m not sure how they feature so heavily in Farage’s warped revisionist history. Easter is a Christian holiday and to be blunt the Jews involvement in the Easter story is not one I think they should wish Christians to dwell on too much.

🚨🇬🇧 FILMED FROM INSIDE THE BOATS: THE CHANNEL CROSSING NOBODY'S MEANT TO SEE Raw footage shot from inside a packed Channel dinghy shows dozens of young men crammed shoulder to shoulder in lifejackets, mid-crossing, with an official vessel shadowing them across the water. It's a rare look at the operation from the inside: not the sanitised arrival shots on the news, but the crossing itself, and how these boats are met rather than turned back. The people smugglers who profit, the French who wave them off, and a UK government that receives them at the other end, the system runs like clockwork, and the British taxpayer foots every bill. Don't be fooled that anyone at the top actually wants it stopped. Filmed by Christian Drogan (Watchman).

MARI YEZIMBABWE IS HERE It is here. Not a whisper from across the ocean. Not a borrowed idea wearing borrowed clothes. It is here. It is our own. And for the first time in a long time, we are not looking over our shoulder for permission. We are embracing it fully. Ko ndoyeduzve. There it is. It fits. That it was always meant to arrive at this shore, at this time. For about two years now, it has been showing its pedigree. Not with fanfare. Not with declarations. But quietly. Steadily. It has held its own space fully, like a tree that does not need to announce its roots. It simply stands.

Disgraceful 😡 Tourists come to London for Christmas lights and carols, not loud Islamic prayers blasting outside Bond Street station during the holiest Christian season. This isn’t coexistence. This is a blatant power move a public declaration of dominance in a historically Christian country, at Christmas. If Christians did this outside a mosque during Ramadan, it’d be national outrage.! But this? Silence. Sadiq Khan’s London: where British heritage gets shouted down, and anyone who objects is called “racist. Britain should not feel foreign in its own capital at Christmas. Enough. 😡
