CBC's David Cochrane admits he is really irked during the PnP panel about Mark Carney doing US and UK media, being identified as an official, not being elected and how he is avoiding Canadian media: "What I find interesting is that Chrystia Freeland and Mark Carney, who are not... show more

A question all Canadian media and Canadians should be asking is why liberal cabinet ministers briefing Carney on government affairs? He’s unelected, that’s is a huge security breach and maybe the law needs to get involved

Confirm Bobby Now! We at America Mission are so proud of Mr. Kennedy and look forward to helping him MAKE AMERICA HEALTHY AGAIN!

The new CEO of CBC what’s her name she’s irrelevant, is currently doing a cross Canada campaign to bolster support for her corrupt CBC. Desperate times?

He's advocating for the EU's CBAM - a climate policy TARIFF. While Trump threatens tariffs on Canada, few people are aware of the European Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) which becomes fully operational in 2026; basically a climate policy tariff. In Canada’s Fall Economic Statement, reference is made to Canada using climate policy such as CBAM to restrict trade. In his May 08, 2024, testimony to the Canadian Senate on climate-aligned finance, Mark Carney foresaw Canada as a future ‘hub’ for Europe’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM). The National Post of Jan. 29, 2025, reports that Canadians hope that Carney, if elected, would cancel Canada’s very unpopular carbon tax. This seems unlikely, as a carbon tax paid in a foreign country becomes deductible from the CBAM rate of the imported good or service. According to a June 13, 2024, speech by Stephan Dion, Special Envoy to the European Union and Europe and Canadian Ambassador to France and Monaco, carbon pricing is seen as an asset for Canadian exports to Europe. I wonder what the thinking is behind that? Seems a lot easier to use the media that you pay for in Canada. What am I missing?

Carney has a great strategy: Stay out of frame and let the media slaughter your competitors. There's endless scandals and hypocrisy to criticize Freeland and Gould for as members of Trudeau's cabinet. Every interview is a knife fight and they're both beyond PR rehabilitation.

Terrible for Canada what is happening. Canadian voters being ignored by Carney. And that is happening. Are we not important enough to Mark Carney! .We are the ones who will be voting

CBC is just trying to play the field a little and get some support from anyone who will listen.

The hits keep piling up as to why Carney would be a horrible choice for Canada. Worse than Trudeau if you can believe that.

Might it be because main stream media in Cda wasn’t interested in what Premier Smith had to say on tarriffs but the US media was as she relayed AB’s and Cda’s good will, WELL before ANY other politician even made an effort. Premier Smith is a known Cdn politician in the US now.

Good to be calling this out. At the very least both of these people should be working hard in Canada on their leadership campaigns. They still haven't convinced the majority of Canadians that we should be listening to them, but they'll go to the U.S. and upset the apple cart. On the diplomatic front, this is the equivalent of going into a protected reserve and throwing your trash everywhere. That's how you know this is a weak government, they can't or don't want to control their rogue operators for the betterment of the country.
