Wishing our team from AP’s government schools all the best as they set out to visit the National Science Museum, Nehru Planetarium, and Russian Centre of Science & Culture in New Delhi. This two-day tour will enhance their practical understanding of Science and Technology. May they travel safely and return enriched with knowledge.

Ex-OpenAI science head Kevin Weil 🇺🇸 on his $215M plan to build robotic labs that run 24/7 and bring drug research back from China: "We’re building robotic labs that do science at scale, and we’re doing it here in America. Doing science at scale is the way we generate the training data the models desperately need." "We need to reshore scientific capabilities from China so that we don’t lose our pharma industry the way that we lost solar and drones and manufacturing." "We’re not developing drugs on our own, we are building the infrastructure so that everybody who does develop drugs can go faster." Warp Sciences

🧬 CLT & INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN! I had the pleasure of sharing The Science of Simplicity at the Science of Learning Conference yesterday. My session explored how 3 key principles from Cognitive Load Theory can shape clearer instructional design—offering practical strategies to reduce overload in learning materials.

Why haven’t LLMs done new science yet? One reason from Periodic Labs cofounder Ekin Dogus Cubuk: science is iterative. LLMs haven’t been able to iterate experimentally yet. “ LLMs can be very smart, but if they're not iterating on science, they won't discover science. To be honest, humans won't either. You put a human in a room without any chance to iterate on something, they won't discover anything important. So we feel like the important thing to teach these LLMs is the method of scientific inquiry.”

$NXXT gets the tech from MIT Labs to bring it to the Grid Battery innovation doesn’t start on social media — it starts in research labs. The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) has been responsible for major breakthroughs in battery materials and energy storage science. That research was licensed and commercialized by A123 Systems, a company built to turn advanced lithium-ion chemistry into industrial-grade systems. Now NextNRG ($NXXT) is entering a relationship with A123 to advance U.S.-manufactured battery energy storage projects. This is a clear lab-to-grid pathway: MIT science, A123 manufacturing, and NXXT deployment into real infrastructure.
