CBS completely omits that first responders were called to Matthew Perry’s home for a Cardiac arrest. Shameful to omit this fact, while arguably insinuating he drowned because of his drug problem—when no drugs were found at the scene.

I think people need to take a breath and wait for more information. I have more than one friend who had pretty strange experiences with him here in NYC— He was a bit of a weirdo, and a heavy drug user. It’s not surprising whatsoever if it is drug related.

I’m not saying anything about a definitive cause of death. I’m pointing out the lack of journalistic integrity for omitting that first responders went to his house for a cardiac arrest. Not concluding anything else other than their failure to report all the known facts.

They know full well what the association will be on social media if they don’t clearly walk the audience along, so they do this intentionally to protect the greatest con we’ve seen in modern history.

That's right. Only a few responsible news outlets pointed out he had been sober for awhile now, talked about it in interviews.

The minute I saw “apparent drowning” I knew he didn’t drown. RIP Matthew 🙏🏻

It’s telling that people think assuming his death was drug-related honors his legacy more than suggesting other known causes of sudden death/cardiac arrest may have caused the highly unusual circumstances of a seemingly healthy, publicly sober, 54-yo “drowning” in a hot tub.

all news outlets are in overdrive to focus the attention on addiction , pills etc ... surely there will be a proper autopsy to determine the cause of this tragic death ....
