One dead and many injured this morning after a passenger train collided with a school bus at the Namumira crossing in Mukono, Uganda. CCTV footage captured the Mwebaze High School bus attempting to cross the tracks at 6:34 am while transporting over 70 students. Police reports state the driver failed to heed warning signals from the oncoming train. Emergency responders and local residents evacuated the injured victims to Mukono General Referral Hospital.

Mumbai Fire Brigade: "The 12 children inside the bus were safely rescued by the bus conductor and local citizens. Out of them, 4 students sustained minor injuries, while 1 boy was seriously injured. The injured students have been admitted to Zen Hospital for further treatment. Out of them, the condition of 4 children is stable; 1 critically injured student, Vihan Shrivastav (11 years old) declared dead at 1623 hrs."
