Ceedee Lamb went into “POSTURING” after his head hit the ground This is the Immediate sign for a Concussion

Whose brilliant idea was it to get rid of real dirt and grass, and bring in turf and concrete?? 🤦♂️

Never good when the gang signs come out

Even without the defender, he would have hit his head after stretching for the pass.

New and softer NFL field surfaces are coming by 2028....much needed. NFL's New Playing Surface Requirements On December 4, 2025, the NFL and the NFL Players Association (NFLPA) announced a joint agreement introducing mandatory standards for playing surfaces across all 32 teams. This initiative aims to enhance player safety by ensuring consistent quality and performance in fields, addressing long-standing concerns about injuries on artificial turf (such as higher rates of ACL tears, Achilles ruptures, and concussions). The policy does not mandate switching to natural grass—teams can continue using grass, synthetic turf, or hybrid options—but all surfaces must meet rigorous testing criteria. Key Requirements Approved Surfaces Only: Starting in the 2026 season, teams must select playing surfaces from a league-approved "library" of options. This list will include vetted products from manufacturers, similar to the NFL's helmet certification program. Testing and Accreditation:Fields will undergo lab and on-field evaluations for traction (to prevent excessive grip that could cause injuries), firmness, and energy return. New devices like "The Beast" (simulates athlete movements for traction measurement) and "The Strike" (tests field hardness) will be used. The first joint testing event for synthetic turf manufacturers is scheduled for the week of December 11, 2025, with pass/fail results determining accreditation. Phased Implementation: Grass Fields: Must comply starting in 2026 (e.g., Pittsburgh's Acrisure Stadium will need to meet standards for its natural grass). Synthetic Turf Fields: Existing installations must be replaced by the end of the 2027 season, ahead of 2028.

Turf/Synthetic fields need to be abolished in the NFL! Watch the World Cup, all natural grass fields. Disgusting this needs to be said.

Id be surprised if he is back next Sunday. Looked like a real slow brain reboot

Have seen & treated many people posturing from head injuries in the prehospital environment & this video doesn’t show it. His legs don’t match what is seen with either decorticate or decerebrate posturing. Most people with a GCS <5 don’t get up & walk minutes later.

tried to re-create the Odell Beckham catch

WR Ceedee Lamb went down with a scary concussion today & displayed posturing/ fencing response directly following impact. Let's break down why this occurs with an intention to raise awareness for TBIs

I thought he broke his hand it looked weird when he rolled over. Scary.

Oh no! 😢

I was worried he'd broken his collarbone. Not that a concussion is good by any means...but at least that's not a season-ender. Either way, hope he makes a full recovery.

Thanks for the full replay Didn’t even look like he hit his dome that hard Hoping for a quick recovery 🙏

Scary sight to see, I hope he’s okay

Watch Trevor Lawrence immediately after this horrific hit. His right arm suddenly flexes as his left arm simultaneously extends. This is known as the “fencing posture”—an involuntary reflex that occurs after impact in blunt head trauma.

That’s definitely not posturing… some assessment from our doctor of physical therapy.

As soon as I saw his arms in the air , I knew. I'm a lion's fan and I hate to see this shit.

Thanks for that diagnosis, you needed a diploma for that?

Ceedee Lamb’s reaction is a textbook warning: the moment his head hit the ground, that posturing was a clear red flag for a concussion. In a sport this fast and physical, ignoring signs like this risks long-term health. Player safety has to come first flashy plays aren’t worth permanent damage.

That positioning means bro lost control of himself for a brief second. That's serious concussion. Glad to see him being taken away. That was a deadly fall.

Interesting, I thought that was a shoulder injury

That was sad to watch. Do the larger helmets help at all? The ones only a few players use, not seen in this game I do not think.

How are more safe padding helmets arent helping with concussions ?

Ceedee Lamb suffers a concussion after initially appearing to have an arm injury. Fencing posturing indicates an injury to the midbrain - and while not directly correlated with “severity” - it is a more severe symptom in concussions. Recent NFL historical trends suggest possible multi week absence

In MMA its known as a flash KO. Still a concussion. I hope he doesn't return for next game. I have suffered several and had post concussion symptoms several years back. Same with my brother. It's no joke

That artificial turf ultimately has Concrete underneath

That’s not a tackle. That’s a memory wipe. 💀🧠📴

& this why i gave up on football way 2 dangerous

Proper proper fields…this synthetic crap is causing all these injuries & concussions…you can’t beat natures grass…naturally has plenty of spongy give…

Back in my day, we’d give him 1 play off. League is soft. Concussions happen in football big deal

I thought that's what Josh Allen did last week. Why he ain't in concussion prothecall???

The NFL care so much about concussions that they use hard astro turf fields that turn the players helmets into bobble heads on impact. It would probably cost them 1 percent of their income to change them to real grass. Greedy bastards

That’s it. It didn’t even look that bad. All players should be wearing those ridiculous, oversized helmets ⛑️
