Here are some other views of Kīlauea summit eruption lava fountaining episode 38 in Halema‘uma‘u crater on the Island of Hawai‘i, and answers to some of your questions about this activity. This eruptive episode began from the north vent at about 8:45 am HST this morning, December 6. Smaller fountains began from the south vent at 8:49 am HST and quickly grew to over 1000 feet (300 meters) high and inclined to the south, towards a closed area of Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park. At 9:55 a.m., hot tephra falling from this fountain destroyed the V3 streaming camera site located within less than a mile (2,000 ft/500 m) from the eruptive vents; its burial highlights the hazardous nature of this closed area. The north vent stopped erupting at 11:50 a.m., but the south vent is still fountaining as of this posting. In addition to the tephra, volcanic gas is being emitted, with sulfur dioxide emission rates likely exceeding 50,000 tonnes per day. The high effusion rate of this episode is also producing a very dramatic plume extending over 20,000 feet above sea level. Both the National Weather Service and Washington Volcanic Ash Advisory Center issued special advisories about this plume, and the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency issued a message about the potential for fine glass particles in communities downwind. Kīlauea's recent eruptive episodes have gone on for 5-9 hours; this episode has been active for about 4.5 hours now. The USGS Hawaiian Volcano Observatory staff are closely monitoring this activity, coordinating with partners at Hawaiʻi Volcanoes National Park and the Hawaii County Civil Defense Agency. #Kilauea #lava #eruption

The President's Office spreads Russian propaganda through publications in Telegram channels. What do we know about Russian propaganda? They lie every time they open their mouths! This is an axiom. This truth, however, is ignored by the media scum of the President's Office when the fake concerns Petro Poroshenko. And now Bankova's propagandists have picked up and are actively spreading fabricated Russian lies. During a speech at the Atlantic Council on December 5, 2024, I said that the Russians were convinced that they would be able to take Kyiv in three days. Then I explained that in the first phase, the Russian troops simply entered in parade uniform, with victory flags and planned to use our infrastructure in their interests. They expected that they would be met with flowers and not resistance. So, the Russians cut out a piece of text from the speech, added their own version of the classics, and fed it to their audience. And that's where Bankova's propagandists got involved and dragged this lie into the Ukrainian information space. The only thing they didn't like in the Russian plot was the mentioning of Poroshenko being on the list of terrorists in Russia. They simply cut this fragment out in their version. Why did they do it the very next day after the GUR reported on increasing the number of PSYOP special units in Russia. It turns out that the Telegram channels Times of Ukraine, Ukraine Online, Insider, Real war, Ukraine Now, Truha have joined these special forces. The question is: are the Russians helping the Office fight against Poroshenko, or is the Office helping the Russians spread lies in Ukraine? We expect the Center for Countering Disinformation to refute this fake.

MASSIVE NEWS: Stop what you are doing and take 5 minutes to watch this clip. This is huge! John Solomon says he has confirmed that the DOJ & the FBI has been secretly building a massive conspiracy case against the deep state! 💥 “MAGA base, Americans, will be happy when they see where this is all heading in the next few weeks… I’ve got it confirmed. There’s a conspiracy case that was opened that looks at this window as a very large window. I wouldn’t be surprised if we saw a special prosecutor named by Pam Bondi in the next week or two. And why does this become significant? Because you don’t have to necessarily then bring the grand jury or the indictment in Washington, DC… it allows them to go to some place like Florida… This has been going on behind the scenes… This is a REALLY big deal… I think the most likely scenario is a large conspiracy case and it starts in the middle of July 2016, when John Brennan walks into President Obama two days before Crossfire Hurricane is launched… President Obama and Brennan knew… that this was a dirty trick by Hillary Clinton. That would be the first overt act and it would carry through… It allows for a very large series of events to be wrapped into a single conspiracy, and all of them to be brought into the indictment.” Patriots, it’s time. We knew it was heading this way, we kept the faith, but now it’s materializing right in front of our eyes! LFG🔥 John Solomon Real America's Voice (RAV)

Putin Marks Christmas at a Church on a Military Base, Surrounded by GRU Officers Vladimir Putin marked Christmas with members of the military for the third time, but unlike the previous two years the Kremlin did not name the church where the president attended the holiday service. According to an analysis by Agenstvo, the church is located on the grounds of a GRU (Russia’s military intelligence agency) military unit in the Moscow region. Standing closest to the president was the unit’s commander, Alexei Galkin (Алексей Галкин), who received Russia’s top state honor, Hero of Russia, during the Second Chechen War. Another new element this year was a brief address Putin delivered inside the church immediately after the service. Details. In a Kremlin statement, Putin attended a Christmas service at one of the churches dedicated to St. George the Victorious in the Moscow region. In the past, the Kremlin has specified which churches Putin visited. Last year, for example, he attended the Church of St. George on Poklonnaya Hill; in 2024, a church at his Novo-Ogaryovo residence; and in 2023, the Annunciation Cathedral in the Moscow Kremlin. ▪️The Kremlin did not explain why it did not identify the church where the president was. Kremlin press-pool reporter Alexander Yunashev said ahead of the Christmas service that Putin would spend the holiday among participants in what Russia calls the “special military operation,” and that covering the event would be difficult because some of those present “can’t be shown on camera.” ▪️According to Agenstvo’s analysis, the president marked Christmas at the Church of the Great Martyr George the Victorious on the grounds of the Senezh Special-Purpose Center (Military Unit 92154) in Solnechnogorsk. According to the Azbuka palomnika project, the idea of building a church there was approved in 2017 by Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, and the appeal was backed by Major General Alexei Galkin, commander of Unit 92154, and Alexander Matovnikov, commander of Russia’s Special Operations Forces. ▪️Galkin, who stood next to Putin during the service, was born in the Ukrainian city of Cherkasy in 1970. During the First Chechen War he was taken captive by insurgents. He later became the prototype for the protagonist of the 2004 film Personal Number, financed in part with money from Sibneft (Galkin was played by actor Alexei Makarov). Galkin received the Hero of Russia Gold Star in 2002, when he was a major serving in a GRU reconnaissance group. In the autumn of 2002, his group, according to the Heroes of the Country project, captured documents said to indicate links between international terrorist networks and the Chechen war. He handed the documents to Putin and was awarded the honor. ▪️Unit 92154 was mentioned in the news only recently: an officer from the unit, Yuri Sizov, was described as the handler of a Ukrainian national accused of organizing explosions on a railway line in Poland. The elite Senezh special-operations center—part of the GRU’s Department of Special Tasks—has carried out sabotage operations in the West, The Wall Street Journal reported in February. Western intelligence agencies consider the unit responsible for parcel explosions at DHL facilities in Europe and for planning an assassination attempt against Rheinmetall’s chief executive. ▪️Another participant in the Christmas service was likely Andrei Popov (Андрей Попов). Based on leaked data, he is also a serviceman of Unit 92154, a colonel, and a Hero of Russia. ▪️The third was Konstantin Maslyanko (Константин Маслянко), a colonel and Hero of Russia. According to leaks, in 2017 he worked in Military Unit 45807 (also part of the GRU). Ukraine’s SBU security service has described him as a man who planned a terrorist attack in central Kyiv in 2014 and organized a bombing at a Ukrainian checkpoint near Luhansk in 2015. The Ukrainian outlet reported that Maslyanko operated under the command of Russian Special Operations Forces commander Valery Flyustikov and Putin’s former bodyguard Alexei Dyumin. ▪️Footage also shows a woman in military uniform. Her head is uncovered. ▪️After the service, Putin addressed those present with a brief speech: “And very often we call the Lord the Savior, because He came to Earth to save all people. And so Russia’s warriors—Russia’s warriors—always, as it were, by the Lord’s will, fulfill this mission: defending the Fatherland and its people, saving the Motherland and its people.” This is an AI-generated English translation

Can you really say he deserves this nomination? I doubt it. No doubt, Ronwen Williams isn't just one of the first eleven among the South African AFCON players. He was the best among them. He did not just play at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2024; he has redefined what it means to be a custodian between the posts. His performance wasn't merely exceptional; it was a masterclass in goalkeeping that will be talked about for years to come. In the quarterfinals against Cape Verde, Williams didn't just save penalties;he choreographed a dance of rebellion, stopping four out of five shots in the shootout. This wasn't just skill; it was as if he had peered into the future, knowing precisely where each ball would go. This feat alone would have been enough to etch his name in AFCON history, but Williams was just warming up. His journey through the tournament was marked by clean sheets and crucial saves, showcasing a blend of athleticism, intuition, and sheer willpower. Against Morocco, a team riding high on confidence, Williams stood tall, his presence in goal was like that of an immovable fortress. Each save was not just a stop; it was a statement, a declaration that on this day, in this tournament, he was unbeatable. The semifinals against Nigeria, laughs! The clash of the Titans. The real AFCON finals, no offence. A match where the stakes were as high as the tension, saw Williams concede but only after a battle where he seemed to stretch time itself, diving, parrying, and commanding his area with the authority of a seasoned general. His performance in the penalty shootouts wasn't just about stopping the ball; it was about breaking the spirit of the opposition, making them doubt their abilities with every save. When the tournament concluded, and the awards were handed out, there was no surprise when Williams was named the Goalkeeper of the Tournament. This wasn't just an award; it was an acknowledgment of a stellar performance that transcended the ordinary. That's an extraordinary performance. His stats - five clean sheets, six penalties saved, and an array of saves that defied physics - tell a story of dominance, of a goalkeeper who didn't just play the game but owned it. Bosso ke mang? Ke Williams! Oga na master! I celebrate Williams, not just for his individual brilliance but for how he carried an entire nation's hopes on his shoulders. In a tournament where every game was a battle, Williams was South Africa's greatest shield, their beacon of hope, and ultimately, their hero even while bowing to the Super Eagles. His performance at AFCON 2024 will be remembered not just for what he did on the field but for how he inspired a generation of goalkeepers and football fans across Africa. In the Hall of AFCON fame, many names will be remembered, but few will shine as brightly as Williams, whose gloves seemed to have a mind of their own, saving not just goals but etching moments into the hearts of football lovers everywhere. His was not just a performance; it was a phenomenon, a testament to what one individual can achieve when they rise to the occasion, not just as a player, but as a legend in the making. So, I DOUBT that he doesn't just deserve the nomination, especially being the first goalkeeper in history to be nominated for the Yashin Trophy while playing for a club in Africa. He deserves to win it. And I am very proud of him. I mean, watch these 👇🏾 God bless Ronwen Williams God bless South Africa God Bless Africa

TOS re-watch day 26: "Devil in the Dark" is absolutely a Top 5 episode for me, from the original series. There are only a handful of other TOS episodes I've re-watched as often as this one, and it remains excellent all these years later. Everything that makes TOS fire on all cylinders is present in this episode: a genuinely alien mystery, the big three cast each getting opportunities to flex his acting chops, an engineering dilemma for Scotty to solve, good guest stars who inhabit their roles nicely, and a practical worldbuilding problem which drives the drama: beyond dealing with a mere monster inhabiting the shadows, Kirk and his crew have to get the mining colony back into operation for the sake of many other Federation colonies who all rely on the miners' product. The questionable physics of a silicon-based deep-dish pizza creature moving through basalt the way we move through air, takes a back seat to the human problem of confronting a murderous entity which only reveals its true nature at the very end. When the miners have to also face their nature. Each of the species reacting against the other, until Spock (with the mind meld) can broker an understanding. I mentioned in my last review that this was a far better example of Nimoy being unleashed from his stone-faced stoicism, than was true in, "This Side of Paradise." Considering the fact Nimoy is having to convincingly and heavily emote—while clutching at throbbing bladders of spray-painted foam—really shows his range. Meanwhile, the irascible DeForest Kelley gets in several Bones-ian lines such as, "I'm a doctor, not a bricklayer!" while barking orders to a junior officer on the ship, and questioning Spock's theses, at the same time simultaneously giving us clues to the mystery through cool-headed forensic talk. And this specific scene—where Shatner discovers the main clutch of Horta eggs—he's staring up into the ceiling of a sound stage. But has to make the audience think he's just seen the most astounding sight imaginable, which suddenly makes him realize just what it is the Horta's been killing for in the first place. Ken Lynch is terrific as Chief Vanderberg, and had an extensive credits history through film and television. A very comfortably familiar face who absolutely sells himself as the production-minded miners' boss. Miner Schmitter (Bill Elliott) likewise had a healthy list of credits, and was important in his brief but key portrayal of a working blue-collar man facing annihilation at the hands of the monster. Security Chief Giotto (John Duke, aka: Barry Russo) would later appear as Commodore Wesley in TOS episode, "The Ultimate Computer." And like Elliott and Lynch, had quite a run of credits. Unlike some other TOS outings, there really isn't much to complain about with this one. The scripting is tight, the plot advances smoothly, the anticipation (as well as horror) is real, and the solution at the end proves quite satisfying. And once again we have clear, undeniable proof that the Federation is not a moneyless utopia, much to the chagrin of Marxist Trekkies. Kirk remarks that Vanderberg and his men are going to be embarrassingly rich once the hatched Horta get going. Likewise, the other colonies depending on Janus VI for rare ores (like the fictional Pergium) are clearly *paying* for the stuff. And any delay in mining or shipping poses a big enough threat to the function of those colonies that Starfleet Command detours the Enterprise to investigate and solve the issue. Thus the economy surrounding the mining is integral to the plot, and inseparable from the worldbuilding. I love this episode. Start to finish. Again, Top 5 for TOS in my book.

Here is the full press conference from after Wednesday's Aidan TurtleBoy Kearney and Karen Read hearing. Karen's attorney, Steve Boozang, and Aidan's lawyer, Tim Bradl, took questions about Karen's phones. Then Attorney Bradl and I cordially discussed Lindsey Gaetani's phone and the relevant sections of the Massachusetts clawback rules for discovery provided in error, after Mr. Bradl invited me to ask him a question at the end of the presser (this is the first time such a thing has happened). Mr. Bradl seemed very concerned with the private information on Karen's phone being disclosed, so I just wanted to make sure he also cared about Lindsey's data in the same way. We reached a bit of a stalemate on that issue, but we had a good chat about the Diaz case. Attorney Bradl also had no comment regarding a new criminal complaint Kearney is facing in New Jersey, despite repeated questions from WCVB. As to the day's proceedings before Judge Krupp, there was no immediate decision rendered regarding Karen's request to prevent the search of two of her cellphones that were seized in January of 2024. The issue will come down to whether the original seizure warrant justifies a 500+ day delay before the state moved to search Karen's phones. The most recent case on point, Diaz from 2025, deals with a delay between a phone seized without a warrant and then a subsequent attempt to obtain a search warrant. Mr. Bradl also moved to stay Kearney's ongoing criminal cases until a new special prosectuor is assigned. That oral motion was denied, but Special Prosectuor Robert Cosgrove did inform the court that an answer as to who will take over Kearney's cases involving Lindsey Gaetani, is expected in the coming weeks. The state's Attorney General, Cosgrove announced, may well be making an appearance regarding only the prosecution of Gaetani's cases related to Kearney (Kearney faces charges from 2023 related to witnesses from the John O'Keefe and Karen Read trial, and Kearney faces 2024 charges related to alleged illegal interception of an orall communication, and witness intimidation, involving Gaetani). Bradl's motion to disqualify Cosgrove from the 2023 cases is expected to be heard on December 5, 2025 in Norfolk Superior Court. A decision on Karen's motion to prevent the search of her phones, in the content of an open 2025 investigation into Kearney that Judge Krupp said was "in the pre-trial process," is expected before that December court date.

[Seoul Economic Daily] 260119 “Unmatched Fan Power” BTS JIN Proves His “World-Class” Presence 👩‍💼Numbers sometimes speak. Sometimes they reflect popularity, point to direction, and prove the flow of the times. But when those numbers are created by fans’ choices, their meaning becomes much deeper. The news we shared today clearly shows just how far those choices can reach. 🏆👩‍💼BTS JIN once again proved his global popularity by taking first place in the 2025 Heart Choice Awards in the Solo Artist Choice category. This award ceremony is the 2025 Heart Choice Awards, co-hosted by the pop fandom app Choeaedol and the global beauty brand Cell Fusion C. Under the concept “This year’s choice completed by hearts,” the most-loved artist of the year was selected through 100 percent fan voting. Voting took place from December 23, 2025, to January 4, 2026. When the results were revealed, fans’ attention immediately turned to JIN. In the final tally, JIN earned a total of 1,295 points, rising to first place in the Solo Artist category amid fierce competition. 👩‍💼This achievement carries more than the meaning of a simple ranking. At a time when both group and individual activities are receiving attention, it clearly shows that JIN continues to maintain top-tier influence as a solo artist as well. In particular, this win is even more meaningful because it was achieved solely through fans’ choices, not digital chart performance or broadcast exposure. 🏢👩‍💼Fans participated directly and created the result with their own hands. Within it are trust, affection, and the time spent waiting, all directed toward JIN. A reward advertisement for the first-place win will be revealed soon. On January 26, a congratulatory advertisement celebrating JIN’s first place will be displayed on the large digital screen at the COEX Superior Tower in Seoul. This advertisement is not just a promotional piece. It becomes a symbolic scene where global fans’ choices are realized as large-scale media in the heart of the city. It is the moment when fans’ hearts, which began online, expand into offline space. This achievement draws even more attention because another record overlapped around the same time. 🏆👩‍💼JIN also won the Male Popularity Award at the 40th Golden Disc Awards through fan voting. That vote ran from December 22, 2025, to January 5, 2026. Achieving meaningful results in two large-scale fan votes held almost simultaneously shows how organized and focused JIN’s fandom is. 👩‍💼This goes beyond simply having many fans. It is strong proof of a fandom that participates consistently and sees things through to the end. Through his solo activities, JIN has shown an expanded musical spectrum along with a more personal narrative. In the process, he has firmly established his own place not just as a member of a group, but as the artist JIN. This result confirms that his journey is being clearly delivered to fans as well. 👩‍💼Meanwhile, BTS, the group JIN belongs to, is preparing for a full comeback on March 20. As the members, each having added their own color and depth through solo activities, come together again as a team, attention is focused on what kind of new synergy they will show. In particular, anticipation is growing over how JIN’s expanded presence as a solo artist and the solid support of his fandom will blend into group activities. Something created by fans’ choices, and the fact that those choices continue. JIN’s latest win is not just a single trophy, but a reflection of the hearts of fans around the world who are still waiting for him and cheering him on. #JIN #방탄소년단진 방탄소년단 BIGHIT MUSIC BTS_official 서울경제신문 최애돌 Golden Disc #HeartChoiceAwards #Goldendiscawards

🚨 BOMBSHELL: Candace Owens EXPOSES the Insincerity Behind TPUSA's Debate "Offer" – And Reveals ERIKA KIRK as the One Who APPROVED It All In a stunning development, Candace Owens has addressed the latest claims from Blake Neff on The Charlie Kirk Show, where he revealed that Erika Kirk personally directed and approved the so-called debate invitation. This comes amid mounting questions from loyal viewers and donors who are heartbroken over the rift between Candace and Turning Point USA. Neff attempted to justify the midnight tweet announcing the event – a full nine hours before Candace even learned of it – by dismissing concerns about its timing as inconsequential. He also insisted that an in-person appearance is essential for authenticity, even as his co-host Andrew Colvett participated remotely during the very segment addressing the issue. This contradiction underscores the perceived lack of transparency and good faith in the process. Candace pointed out the clear flaws in their approach: The original statement described a "sincere" invitation to join a live stream in Phoenix, with no mention of an in-person requirement or a rigid 24-hour response deadline. Such demands created an impossible situation, especially given her family commitments, including an important overseas event involving her husband, George Farmer, who serves as a key advisor in her professional decisions. What makes this particularly revealing is Erika Kirk's direct involvement. As the widow of Charlie Kirk and a figure who has positioned herself as a guardian of family values and his legacy, her approval of these tactics raises serious questions. Why greenlight a process that feels more like a trap than an earnest dialogue? Why treat longtime supporters – like the caller Gina, a devoted donor grappling with the fallout – with such evident condescension? Candace made it abundantly clear: This was never about genuine reconciliation. The organization assumed the public would not scrutinize the details, much like they hoped unsubstantiated claims against Charlie would fade without response. Yet the internet has seen through it, and the contempt for everyday patriots who built TPUSA is palpable. Despite the clear bad faith, Candace remains committed to truth and unity. She explicitly called on Turning Point USA to reopen channels, confirm Erika Kirk's participation on December 15th, and allow a full, unfiltered discussion – even via live stream if needed. With her husband's input, she is willing to explore options, emphasizing that this could be a powerful moment for healing if approached with honesty. The ball is firmly in their court now. Will Erika Kirk step forward to honor Charlie's true legacy of open debate and America First principles? Or will this continue to erode the trust of the very movement they claim to lead? True conservatives deserve better than scripted confrontations and midnight ultimatums. Candace is ready to engage – the question is, are they? 🚨UNITED STATES OF SAUDI ARABIA - WE ARE GIVING OUR COUNTRY AWAY! The King Fahd Mosque in Culver City (Los Angeles): A Saudi royal-funded ideological beachhead directly tied to the 9/11 hijackers from the moment they landed. While TikTok influencers film “good vibes,” shawarmas, and “American accents saying Inshallah” after Friday prayers… the reality is far darker. This $8.1 million white-marble mosque (with its 72-ft minaret) was a direct gift from King Fahd and his son Prince Abdulaziz bin Fahd. It was the first major mosque in North America fully funded by the Saudi royal family (land purchased 1993, construction funded 1995, opened 1998). It was built as part of the Kingdom’s global campaign to export Wahhabism or simply Islam that Saudi Arabia has spent billions spreading worldwide through its Ministry of Islamic Affairs (MOIA). The mosque is operated by the Islamic Foundation of Shaikh Ibn Taymiyyah - named after the medieval scholar repeatedly cited by jihadists to justify violent expansion and killing of “apostates” and non-Muslims. But it gets worse. The imam at the time was Fahad al-Thumairy - a Saudi diplomat posted to the LA consulate and a designated MOIA “propagator.” He led a jihadi faction inside the mosque and kept copies of Islamic literature there (in Arabic and English) that explicitly called for the killing of non-Muslims and apostates. FBI sources described Thumairy as having “extreme anti-U.S. views” and inspiring jihadis at the mosque. 🚨The 9/11 hijackers’ first stop in America: On January 15, 2000, terrorists Khalid al-Mihdhar and Nawaf al-Hazmi landed at LAX. The very first place they went was the King Fahd Mosque. Thumairy immediately tasked a trusted associate (Mohammed Johar) to take care of them - arranging housing in a nearby Culver City apartment walking distance from the mosque, transportation, and logistics. The two hijackers met Thumairy at the mosque. One even led prayers there later. They returned to the mosque before one of them left the U.S. in June 2000. Thumairy had advance notice. Witnesses and patterns of calls strongly indicate he knew “two brothers” were coming and needed help. Even before the hijackers arrived: In December 1999 - just weeks before the hijackers landed - Thumairy helped arrange lodging near the mosque for people connected to the Millennium Plot (the foiled al-Qaeda attempt to bomb LAX on New Year’s Eve 1999). The mosque itself was flagged by the FBI as a site of “extremist-related activity both before and after 9/11.” Multiple FBI subjects had close ties to it. Agents believed Saudi government money was being laundered through the mosque to nonprofit fronts linked to Osama bin Laden overseas. After 9/11, some people at the mosque openly celebrated, with one reportedly saying “Isn’t it great that our brothers are fighting?” Thumairy was eventually removed from the mosque for his “immoderate” activities. In 2003, the U.S. State Department barred him from re-entering the country, determining he “might be connected with terrorist activity.” These same two hijackers then moved to the Islamic Center of San Diego - the exact mosque now back in the news. 15 of the 19 hijackers were Saudi nationals. Their support network was already operating on American soil - at a Saudi royal-funded mosque in Los Angeles. This was never just a “community center.” It was a Saudi ideological outpost designed to spread terror and maintain influence networks in the United States. The “good vibes” videos are the mask. The documented history - royal funding, jihadi literature, advance support for hijackers, money laundering suspicions, and pre-9/11 terror connections, is the reality. AMERICA- Foreign-funded mosques like this MUST BE KICKED OUT OF AMERICA - They are MILITARY OUTPOSTS... WHAT THE HELL ARE WE DOING, AMERICA!? 99% OF THE GOP WILL TALK ABOUT ANYTHING BUT ISLAM - THEY WILL ADDRESS ANTIFA, NOW THE DSA, BUT NOT ISLAM....WE ARE GOING TO LOSE OUR COUNTRY!

Asia’s richest man just bought himself $300 billion worth of political cover from the US president. The first new US oil refinery in 50 YEARS is being built in Texas - backed by India’s Reliance Industries. Everyone's celebrating it as "energy dominance." But when you dig into who's involved, the timing, and where the money's really going, this story makes NO sense... Let's start with the $300 billion number. It makes zero sense for a single refinery. Reliance's own Jamnagar facility in India, the world's largest refinery complex, cost roughly $6 billion to build. It processes 1.4 million barrels per day. The Brownsville project is permitted for 160,000 barrels per day. That's 1/9th the capacity. A realistic cost? $5-15 billion max. $300 billion is the GDP of Ireland. So where's the other $280+ billion going? Nobody knows. The company building it is called America First Refining. Until very recently, they were Element Fuels Holdings. A Dallas startup that's been trying to build this exact refinery since 2015. Nearly a decade of permits, environmental filings, and pre-construction on 240 acres at the Port of Brownsville. They rebranded to "America First Refining" right before this announcement. The timing is almost too perfect. Now let's talk about Reliance: Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries isn't just India's biggest energy company. It's India's biggest EVERYTHING company. Telecom, retail, media, petrochemicals, AI. Market cap over $230 billion. Ambani is Asia's richest person. The man isn't building refineries because he's passionate about Texas gasoline. He's building political capital. India is under massive US pressure to stop buying Russian oil. Reliance's Jamnagar refinery has been one of the biggest processors of sanctioned Russian crude. The US has been leaning on Ambani hard to cut those purchases. So what does Ambani do? Shows up with a massive investment branded "America First," timed exactly when the president needs an energy win. Oil just spiked past $100 a barrel because of the Iran war. Gas prices jumped 50 cents in a week. Trump's facing political heat over energy costs heading into midterms. And suddenly here's this $300 billion headline. Ambani gets goodwill. Trump gets a headline. The refinery might get built in 2027. Maybe. This isn't just a deal. Ambani invests in American energy PR. In exchange, the US eases pressure on Reliance's Russian oil imports, which generate billions in profit because sanctioned crude trades at massive discounts. A $300 billion headline buys a LOT of political cover. The refinery itself is actually smart regardless of the politics. Brownsville sits on the US-Mexico border. Deepwater port. Direct Permian Basin pipeline access. Free trade zone. Hydrogen-powered processing that would make it one of the cleanest refineries ever built. IF they build it, it transforms one of the most economically distressed regions in Texas. But one thing's certain, $300 billion is a political number, not an engineering number. And the timing, with oil doing what it's doing, Iran disrupting 20% of global supply, gas prices surging, and midterms approaching, tells you everything about why this was announced TODAY. This is a handshake between the richest man in Asia and the most powerful man in America. Both get exactly what they need. The question is whether American consumers get anything out of it. Or whether this becomes another announcement that sounds incredible on paper but disappears after a few months.

At that time, the judges asked Jihoon (P.O) to sing, and he suddenly sang the ‘Dodgeball King Tongki’ song while clapping along 🍒: Then we both passed the audition and took classes together for over half a year. P.O: But our paths were really different. He practiced acting a lot with me. We went to the acting academy called (M***) in Yeouido 👤: Ah, that’s famous! P.O: Very famous! You absolutely had to stay there. We both joined that acting academy, but within less than a year, he entered a school uniform contestbecause he was handsome 👤: and tall P.O: he was immediately picked up by SM and went straight into the elite SM path. 🍒: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 👤: Of course he is handsome so he went to the handsome elite path 🍒: ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ (Laughs shyly) 👤: and you? ( To P.O) P.O: I just entered high school and hyung (CHANYEOL) has a photo wearing a uniform like this, when i saw it, it really felt amazing how i was able to see his journey to success 🍒: After debut, the first time we saw each other again was at an awards show when we won the rookie award. Jihoon (P.O) was in the artists’ area, looking at me with bright, sparkling eyes. That moment made me so happy.

BREAKING: A Google engineer just got arrested for insider trading. But not on stocks... On ONE specific bet, using data that only a handful of Google employees were allowed to see. Meet Michele Spagnuolo. 36 years old. Italian national. Long-serving Google security engineer based in Zurich. One of a limited number of employees with access to the internal data behind Google's "Year in Search" report. The same report Google publishes every December. The one that ranks the most-searched people, events, and terms of the year. Marketing campaign. Cultural moment. Commercial barometer of Google's dominance in search. And, according to the FBI, the foundation of a million-dollar insider trading scheme on Polymarket. Between October and December 2025, Spagnuolo allegedly logged into Google's internal tool to view the unpublished Year in Search rankings. The screen displayed "Confidential" in red text at the top. He looked anyway. Then he opened Polymarket under the account name "AlphaRaccoon." And he started loading up. His first bet was $403 on Kendrick Lamar to be the most-searched person of 2025. The market gave Lamar a 3% probability. It started small. It did not stay small. $10,807 against Pope Leo XIV being the most-searched person. $937,688 against Bianca Censori being the most-searched person at 85% probability. $509,149 against Donald Trump being the most-searched person at 90% probability. $171,612 against Trump being in the top five at 66% probability. The bets weren't random. They were precisely shaped to match a leaderboard nobody outside Google had seen. Then he placed the bet that gives the whole thing away. $381 on a relatively unknown singer named D4vd to be among the top five most-searched individuals. The market gave that 18% probability. He made the bet in November. After, according to the FBI, re-accessing the internal Year in Search data, which had updated since he viewed it in October. He placed another $5 bet on D4vd to be number one. The market gave that almost zero. On December 4, Google published the Year in Search 2025 report. D4vd was number one. Spagnuolo's bets resolved. The AlphaRaccoon account collected approximately $1.2 million in profit. Almost immediately, the wallet started moving the money out. 5.045 million USDC was transferred off Polymarket and into a series of decentralized swap services. Then into a privacy-focused cryptocurrency mixer that strips wallet addresses from the blockchain. The FBI says this was an attempt to launder the proceeds. And here's where the story turns from a corporate insider scandal into something more interesting. Within days of the Year in Search release, online sleuths were already speculating that AlphaRaccoon had to be a Google insider. The bets were too specific. The bankroll was too large. The timing was too clean. The FBI was watching the same forums. Special Agent Brandon Racz pulled the criminal complaint together by combining blockchain data, Google's internal access logs, and screenshots of the confidential dashboard Spagnuolo had viewed. The dashboard logs reportedly showed his employee ID accessing the unpublished data on the exact dates that matched the betting pattern. On May 27, 2026, Spagnuolo was arrested. The charges: Commodities fraud. Wire fraud. Money laundering. Combined maximum sentence: 50 years. The CFTC filed a parallel civil complaint within hours. US Attorney Jay Clayton's statement is the part worth reading twice. "Today's charges reinforce a decades-old message: corporate insiders cannot use confidential business information to turn a profit in our markets." Translation: Polymarket is now "our markets."
