The Census Bureau has already admitted that it miscounted the U.S. population badly enough to give blue states more representation in Congress. The next Census needs to correct those errors and count only American citizens for congressional apportionment! Lora Ries

Yesterday, the Government of India decided to conduct a caste census alongside national population census. I congratulate Shri Rahul Gandhi for his steadfast commitment to social justice, as he has long advocated for a nationwide caste census. He played a key role in including it in the Congress party's manifesto for the last parliamentary elections. : Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah ji

Instead of reducing the census to a partisan tool, House Republicans should join Democrats in making sure the Bureau has the resources it needs so its expert, nonpartisan professionals can meet the clear constitutional mandate to complete an accurate count of our people.

Is the census data being manipulated? Now when the census is finally being conducted with a 5-year delay, enumerators in Delhi, Rajasthan & UP are reportedly being told to avoid options that paint the govt in a poor light. This completely erodes public trust - census is the most important data set for public policy & planning in the country. Watch Jaanne Bhi Do Yaaro with Dipa Sinha

Democrats in California seem to be trying to make it as easy as possible for illegal immigrants to live in their state… Why? The census counts body’s not citizens. And the census is how we determine how many seats in the House of Representatives each state gets along with the Electoral College. I think it’s more gaming the census for more political power than it is about democrats being compassionate.

I asked the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) about the decision to include a question in the 2026 Census asking every Australian over 16 about their sexuality. One Nation believes that a person's sexuality is not the government’s business and that there is no overarching need for the government to know. A person's sexuality has no bearing on housing requirements, road usage, or the consumption of medical or educational services—areas which the Census is designed to address in order to plan infrastructure. This question should not be included in the Census, which needs to return to its core purpose—providing data to support government services.

Missouri is suing the U.S. Department of Commerce and the U.S. Census Bureau over the policy of including illegal aliens and temporary visa holders in census counts used for congressional apportionment, Electoral College votes, and federal funding allocation.

Senator: The Census Bureau is under your jurisdiction. The Census Bureau is in charge of defining what it means to be in poverty, correct? Howard Lutnick: I think it does Senator: Well you need to look, because it does

JUST IN: President Trump is backing Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s (R-GA) new bill that would EXCLUDE illegal immigrants from the census. Once it’s law, the U.S. Census Bureau will be REQUIRED to conduct a new census “immediately.” Democrats would be poised to lose House seats and electoral college votes if passed. Greene wrote on 𝕏: “I just got off the phone with President Trump!! I told [Trump] about my new bill I am introducing that will save America’s elections from ever being stolen again!” “My bill will require the U.S. Census Bureau to conduct a new census immediately upon enactment of the bill. In conducting the new census of the U.S. population, it shall require questions determining the citizenship of each individual, and count US citizens only.” “Upon completion of the census, the bill will direct states to immediately begin a redistricting of all U.S. House seats process using only the population of United States citizens.”
