Centennial Nursing Home Employee Arrested for Elder Abuse The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office has arrested an employee of the Orchard Park Health Care Center at 6005 S. Holly St. in Centennial for the alleged abuse of an at-risk adult. Patience Jackson, 33, was arrested at her home on June... 11. She is facing charges of: Criminal Negligence – Felony Class 5 Crimes Against an At-Risk Person – Felony Class 5 Complicity – Felony Class 5 On May 9, 2025, Investigator VanCleave was called to Sky Ridge Medical Center on an elder abuse allegation against a 92-year-old female victim who suffers from severe dementia. Hospital employees had noticed the victim had two separate broken bones in her lower leg (a tibia-fibula fracture) after being transported to the hospital via ambulance from Orchard Park Health Care Center. Hospital employees told Investigator VanCleave that the victim’s injuries were not consistent with the injuries stated in the report by Orchard Park Health Care Center. That report noted that the victim was found sitting in her wheelchair, screaming for help in terrible pain, that no one had seen her fall, and they did not know what happened. After almost four weeks of a detailed investigation, Investigator VanCleave gathered enough additional evidence to indicate that two female employees at Orchard Park Health Care Center -- Patience Jackson, a Certified Nursing Assistant, and Zainab Namale, a Licensed Practical Nurse, were likely untruthful about how the victim obtained her injuries. The investigator also believes both suspects were complicit in their actions to hide the truth of what happened to the victim. Investigator VanCleave believes the victim’s injuries occurred on May 8 and were caused by criminal negligence, which is a crime against an at-risk person. An arrest warrant was obtained for both employees. Jackson was booked into the Arapahoe County Detention Facility and is being held on a $2,500 bond. There is currently an active arrest warrant for Namale. This case remains an active, ongoing investigation. The filing of a criminal charge is merely a formal accusation that an individual committed a crime under Colorado law. A defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The unconscious patient was hit by a suspected felon during a police chase. The felon hit the truck driver, putting him in an unconscious state in the hospital. The police wanted a blood sample from him. The nurse rightfully under orders from her superiors, and the law cannot just turn over the blood sample without consent from the patient or a warrant.. The police had no such warrant. She even had her hospital administrator sticking up for her, but she was arrested anyway. If she had turned over that blood sample, she would've lost her job as a nurse, and probably her license. In this case, I do not think she was hindering an investigation. My question is why didn't the cops get a warrant? They couldn't have a judge sign off on one? If you were this nurse, what would you have done? It's a terrible position for her to be put in.!!

As passengers rushed to board, a stampede-like situation developed due to overcrowding and a lack of proper crowd management. In the confusion, Harshita lost her balance and fell near the bus. Tragically, one of the bus’s tires ran over her leg, resulting in a severe fracture. Emergency services were immediately alerted, and she was promptly transported by Sadu Ambulance to the district hospital in Tumkur. She is currently undergoing treatment for her injuries. Medical staff have confirmed that her leg was broken in the accident, and she is receiving the necessary care.
