Farmers’ markets where everything is fresh and organic. You gotta stop buying at grocery stores to upgrade your diet. “Hey Neo here are the keys to Tesla Robotaxi. And here is my credit card. Start up food as a service.” Neo will take an autonomous car to the market. “But Neo how do you know where to go?” “Well a guy on X did a video of the farmer’s market nearby.” “I watched it, and now know roughly the kinds of things I can get there.” We are too late to start today, the market is closed now, but we can start next week. Look at this video the way Grok does. I am playing humanoid today. In one visit my Neo will ingest all of this into its World Model. In the second visit it will get even better. In the third visit even better. World models are going to be real time by the end of next year from a variety of companies. فيصل Tesla Robotaxi already serves both our home and the market. Our Tesla drove us there and already knows where it is. Grok is already a world model. In a few minutes it can tell you what it learned by watching this video. It watches all my videos before distributing them to you. So it knows how not to overwhelm @jason’s feed with my prolific posting. It will get a lot better soon. But after three trips to this farmer’s market my robot will know everything about this market including the names of the farmers. Watch this video, you meet one. Grok can do a RAG search and learn everything about him, including that he doesn’t have a Website, and only posts on Facebook. Also that he takes Apple Pay. It already knows everything it sees. The names of the vegetables, fruits, nuts, and what is ravioli. One vendor sells fresh ravioli made early this morning. If you are freaked out by privacy have your Neo stay in the garage until it is time to do something for you. In three years I will be eating fresh food with my brother in law while football is on the TV. If you don’t have a robot you won’t eat as well unless you are a billionaire who can afford to pay the human to shop and cook for you. The Robotaxi network starts up next year (without humans). The world models get good next year. By 2030 every one of you will have a robot in your home, at least part time. Who has the best world model? Tesla. Who understands the real world better? Grok. (I didn’t give this video to anyone else). Who soon will have the best humanoid? Tesla. Which company already has a Robotaxi in my driveway? Tesla. Which company has the best video ingestion engine? Tesla. Which company is about to turn on a real time world model? xAI. Which company would you want to invest in? Tesla and xAI. Which is why, if you are a Tesla investor and you didn’t vote for Tesla to invest in xAI you hurting yourself.. Everything as a service is about to arrive. Everyone who can afford a $20,000 robot, which can be financed will have it next year. I will. Anyone worried about privacy has no idea how useful this all will be to make your lives better. And how much money it will make for a robot company to put it all together. And only Tesla has all the pieces to make the meal.

Nearly the entire valuation of Tesla, a $1.5 trillion stock, is based on this categorically ridiculous nonsense that could only have been said by someone who has no idea how humans, or robots, work. “ELON MUSK: And actually, my prediction is in the benign scenario of the future that we will -- the robot -- we will actually make so many robots in AI that they will actually saturate all human needs. Meaning you wouldn’t be able to even think of something to ask the robot for at a certain point. Like, there will be such an abundance of goods and services. My prediction is there will be more robots than people. LARRY FINK, Blackrock: But how do you then have human purpose in that scenario? MUSK: Yeah. I mean, you know, nothing’s perfect, you know. But I mean, it is a necessary -- like you can’t have both. You can’t have work that has to be done and amazing abundance for all. Because if it is work that has to be done, then you -- and only some people can do it, then you can’t have abundance of people. FINK: It is narrow. MUSK: …who wouldn’t want a robot to, you know, assuming it is very safe, watch over your kids. Take care of your pet. If you have elderly parents, a lot of friends might have said that, elderly parents, it is very difficult to take care of them.” Who wouldn’t want a robot to watch their pets, or parents, or kids? Uhhhh. I haven’t done a scientific poll, but I feel pretty confident that actually almost no one wants this—except mentally ill people who don’t care about other human beings at all. People with no empathy. People with psychopathic personalities who feel that taking care of their own families is a burden. Moreover, what Musk describes—production of at least 8 billion robots—is literally impossible within any of our lifetimes, even if the technology existed, which it does not. It is pure fiction, as is his asinine concept of “abundance.” It’s all a techno-futurist mirage to conceal his insatiable quest to remove the pesky humans from every equation—an incandescent self-hate turned inside out and amplified by almost a trillion dollars.

Q: Why is company culture important? In the clip below, a16z cofounder Ben Horowitz argues that culture drives how people in your company behave on a daily basis—and particularly, how they behave when you’re not looking. Is that phone call so important I need to return it today or can it wait until tomorrow? Can I ask for a raise before my annual review? Is the quality of this document good enough or should I keep working on it? Do I have to be on time for that meeting? Should I stay at the Four Seasons or the Red Roof Inn? Should I go home at 5 p.m. or 8 p.m.? Should we discuss the color of this new product for five minutes or thirty hours? If I know something is badly broken in the company, should I say something? Whom should I tell? Is winning more important than ethics? None of these things are in your mission statement or OKRs, but they determine many important things for your company, such as how people experience your company, what you’re like to do business with, what your company is like to work at, etc. And as Ben describes, what drives the culture is all of the little behaviors and cues people take on: “this is what I have to do to succeed in this company.” Culture can feel abstract and secondary when you pit it against a concrete result that’s right in front of you, but it’s a strategic investment in the company doing things the right way when you are not looking. It’s the set of assumptions your employees use to resolve the problems they face every day. It’s how they behave when no one is looking. If you don’t methodically set your culture, then two-thirds of it will end up being accidental, and the rest will be a mistake. I need you to sit down for a moment and fully understand this: THE COUNTRY THAT SOLVES AI AND ROBOTICS WILL RULE THE WORLD AND SPACE. The west really only has Elon Musk, the east has 100s of companies fortified by an ENTIRE COUNTRY. Now some will argue no this is not true. No US company has the scale to MANUFACTURE, the compute power, and the finances to compete. Just a few hours ago we saw IRON for the first time, now you will. IRON, a 5’10, 150-lb AI humanoid robots are already building EV cars on the XPENG Motors factory floor. It has over 60 joints, a human-like spine, facial expressions, and male/female customizations The gait of this robot is the most human-like ever seen. Mass rollout in 2026. It is a very big deal. Because as the west does the best in clubbing each other over its head the last decade, China has looked and laughed and built at scale with a fortified government that has little diversion of goal, a 1000 year plan. The west has quietly plans and layers of lawyers and politicians. This is about where YOU LIVE and how you want to live. So when we kick the one person that is Atlas carrying our chance, in the groin, you make a choice on who’s world view you want. It is that simple. No, it is that simple. It ain’t no iPhone it is: whose’s world view will sustain. I can say no one is ready for what I have seen that is up for the next few years. You will think my bombastics were too tame.

Can United States manufacture robots? Matic Robots says "yes." It makes the best floor cleaning robot, that has won many perfect scores from Wired to many others. We love ours. But my trip there to get a tour from AI pioneer Navneet Dalal Navneet Dalal provided some real insights into how hard it is for a hardware company to make hardware in the United States. And how deeply AI is changing consumer electronics products that are going to be in many more homes soon. In this first part (Part II coming tomorrow) we get a look at how long it took for this company to go through prototypes to a shipping product. In the second part, you'll see the scaling hell that it takes to even ship a few thousand robots and the kinds of problems that scaling up a factory brings. Matic is one of my favorite small Silicon Valley companies. It has found what we call "product market fit." I just came back from CES where I saw many of its competitors, and the Matic wins because of not just the product thinking of Mehul and Navneet Dalal but because of their AI leadership. In a way their robot took many lessons from Tesla, from where to put the batteries to its bet on computer vision, which Navneet has been a pioneer in for years, working quietly behind the scenes. It is about to move into a new location that will allow it to grow to meet the demand that now is showing up (the boxes in its lobby show that it's outgrowing its current facilities). In terms of AI, it has aspirations of making a humanoid too, but it is taking a far more measured approach to getting there. By starting on the floor it can not just build world models based on real world data (customers are given a choice whether to allow its data to be used that way. Most customers choose to keep their data on the robot only, for privacy reasons, but if you opt in you can help them improve their models). They are using that data to understand homes. Navneet told me they hit very unusual situations in people's homes already that they couldn't really predict in simulators, like full-wall mirrors that confuse computer vision systems, or pools and water features in people's homes. Having real customers brings a ton of customer feedback about how to further improve the robot, and, as Navneet demonstrates in the second video, forces them to build a manufacturing muscle memory. Getting teams to work together, figuring out how to solve supply chain problems, from Trump's tarriffs, to a new one that showed up over the past couple of weeks. A supplier for its bags (one of the cheaper parts that goes into the robot) changed the glue it used, which caused robots to fail quality tests and the manufacturing line to stop. Reminds me a lot of the hell Elon Musk faced in its Fremont factory when Tesla was first starting to manufacture its Model 3, which almost bankrupted the company. Off the record Mehul and Navneet 🇮🇳 showed me some of the prototypes and plans for its next products that will show up over the next few years. Certainly not as sexy as Tesla, Figure, 1x_tech, and all the Chinese manufacturers are showing off already, but far better thought out for the typical Western home and AI plays a huge role in its future. It is the product that speaks for itself. It's amazing, and is about to get better this year due to AI. It's the first real vision-only robot to be in my home and I bet it won't be the last from this company. Real honor that they invited me over with my Insta360 camera (another company launched in my home, just like Matic was last year). In Part II we go into the factory.
