Chad Johnson is TIRED of hearing Philly and says Miami is the best option for LeBron James: “You think Bron really wanna go through that? No, that’s why Philly is not an option. He don’t wanna do that…we can go to goddamn Miami and control the ball…he doesn’t have to be the chosen one…he got them two young bulls down there that’s going to do all the work down there — he got Giannis…I gotta come out the 6th minute for Maxey and sit down — for what? when I can go down in Miami.” (via Nightcap)

Chad Johnson says LeBron James knows himself that Miami is the best spot for him: Joe: “if y’all get LeBron — that’s going to be turnt up to the max over there.” Ocho: “what you think LeBron thinking? LeBron know….this is the best fit…how you think I knew Giannis was coming to Miami?…you saw the reports about Klay? When I say something…I got my sources…because I been in the room with the people that are making the moves…” (via Nightcap)

Chad Johnson and Joe Johnson both make a pitch for LeBron James to join the Miami Heat👀 Ocho: “you wanna make this last dance your best dance…when they add other pieces around Bron to go with Bam and Giannis — is Miami…LeBron is not going to the goddamn West…his easiest way to have a chance at another title…would be down in Miami…” Joe: “I kind of understand where Ocho is coming from…considering the fact Cleveland doesn’t have the perimeter defenders…I think Miami has a nice attractive team…they’re going to add some guys…” (via Nightcap)

Now Joe Johnson believes Miami is the best spot for LeBron James👀 “I can’t really see a place better than Miami honestly. You got him, Giannis, Bam — he’ll get a chance to facilitate, Giannis is going to average 30-32 PPG, Bron coming down there avenging 20 and 10…I just think it’s going to be challenging to go play in Philly with Maxey, VJ, Brown and Embiid…and I think it’s going to be challenging playing with Donovan Mitchell and James Harden — when James (Harden) ain’t got the ball, he’s just kind of standing… (via Nightcap)

The Miami Heat’s pitch to LeBron James is being the best basketball fit, per Ramona Shelburne “That is the Miami Heat’s pitch to LeBron James that they are the best basketball fit for him. Their pitch to him is ‘look, we have Bam and Giannis. That is the best back line defense you could ask for. You’re not going to have to play this small ball 5 like you did in LA.’ — the longer this goes on the more I hear the Heat as a destination”

Chad Johnson makes a pitch for LeBron James to Miami to RICH PAUL himself: “Do you want to go to the West and deal with them juggernauts? No you don’t want to deal with them…over there in Philly? Why? You got Maxey who needs the ball…Embiid clogging up the paint — he’s in the way. That don’t make no sense. Down here in 305 in the county where he already been — why not bring another chip down here…” (via Nightcap)

Vince Goodwill believes Miami is the BEST place for LeBron to compete for a championship: “I think Miami is a potential third team when you think about all the lessons that LeBron learned through his career, his most fruitful, the best version of LeBron was with the Miami Heat, Erik Spoelstra and Pat Riley. When you look at them getting Giannis, and then Tim Hardaway one of the best 6th man 3PT shooters in the league. They’re going about the business making themselves attractive to a player like LeBron…. With the Miami Heat, to have a guy like that to sort of glue everything together, that to me is more intriguing from a winning standpoint.”

Josh Smith questions the fit with Giannis in Miami: “I think they need more shooting, for sure. I’m trying to figure out how that Bam and Giannis situation works. When you been in a situation like Giannis where you’ve been the man and controlled everything pretty much, how you want to move, Miami is a little different. It’s going to be interesting to see how all that works down there.” (Via Nightcap)

Brian Windhorst says the teams going after LeBron, believe Miami is the BEST basketball fit 👀 “If you look at Cleveland, the team the Cavs have is reminiscent of the Lakers team he’s leaving…. The Sixers have a number of ball handlers. The ball handling role is wide open in Miami. The history is there in Miami. The star power is there in Miami… As I’ve had conversations over the last few weeks, Miami continues to make more and more sense to me… The more you talk about this with NBA teams, even the teams that are recruiting LeBron, the team they see is the basketball fit, it’s Miami.”

Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson discuss LeBron coming to Miami: Chad: He’s not going back to LA. I can tell you that… You heard it here first… LeBron, Klay, Giannis, Bam! Shannon: I will say this about LeBron, he is one of the most forgiving people that I know… If he can forgive Dan Gilbert for the things he said, you can forgive Pat Riley for throwing the cookies in the trash. Pat said ‘I’ll leave the key under the door mat if he wanna come back.’ Pat knows what that man represents” (Via Nightcap)

Chiney Ogwumike makes her case for LeBron to Miami: “They’re built differently when you think about Miami compared to Cleveland. The players in Miami are some dogs! — Hahe you seen Giannis Antetokounmpo in transition? He is relentless. Have you seen Bam Adebayo? One of the most unguardable players who’s scratching the surface of his greatness… Those are two of the biggest dogs in the NBA! If you’re 41 years old, why not look back to south beach? A place you’re familiar with, with a guy in Pat Riley who’s 81 but still got it. You can play alongside people that you don’t have to question how bad do they want it.” (Via Chiney Ogwumike / First Take)

Gilbert Arenas says the Miami Heat needs to apologize to LaMelo/Charlotte because they helped them get Giannis: “This is why everyone needs to apologize. See you really believed and thought the Miami Heat wanted to make the playoffs. That little injury that kept Bam of the 2nd half that resulted in a loss…that same situation got them a lottery pick…they got their lottery pick, they got their pieces and they got Giannis….you can you please send all of your flowers down to Charlotte…we’ve been sorry all year — this ain’t the time to hero ball…” (via Gilbert Arenas)

Kendrick Perkins loves the fit with LeBron, Giannis and Bam in Miami: “I see a major problem is LeBron James decides to take his talents back to South beach to team up with Giannis and Bam Adebayo…. You talk about being a floor spacer, one thing about Bam, he’s gotten better every single year.. You add Bron to the mix with him being the facilitator being in the P&R action… imagine if that’s Bron and Giannis. That facilitator that Pat Riley said they’re missing. You add him to what they already have? It’s going to be smoke in the city for any team in the East that has to deal with that team. Those 3, in a 7 game series”

Stephen A Smith doesn’t think LeBron would get a statue in Miami or Los Angeles: “Me personally I think his best shot at a championship is going back to Cleveland. One could argue Miami with Bam,Giannis, and Portis… Cleveland is the one place in the NBA where he loved. They probably ain’t gonna hang a statue for LeBron in Miami. That’s Wade county. Even tho Bron would deserve it. They’re certainly not going to hang a statue for LeBron in LA.” (Via Stephen A Smith)

I’ve been 99% right when it comes to where these NBA players are going….I was just playing about Ja Morant…if you can’t function in Memphis — ain’t no way in hell you’re coming to Miami…honestly I thought I LeBron was coming…I think the admin leaking that made him do a U-turn…I think it was done on purpose…I knew Klay was coming — I said it two months ago. Brian Windhorst says Miami makes even MORE sense for LeBron if he wants to play 2 more seasons: Windy: You know I’m from Cleveland you know my ties there. The more I’ve looked at this and the more I’ve had conversations, the more Miami makes sense to me. Now when I hear him thinking about a couple of years, it makes even more sense. I think that’s where he goes and fits. He can go there and have the ball. He also can go there and be protected on defense… I don’t see him playing with Donovan and Harden and being a clean fit. The fit in Miami makes more sense to me. I’ve come to that as I’ve watched this unfold the last 3 weeks and had a bunch of conversations Dave: I do think the point about the ball in his hands, that is the undisputed basketball fit in terms of the way we’ve seen him enjoy playing basketball (Via Hoop Collective)
