SERGEY NAZAROV SMARTCON 2025 KEYNOTE The infrastructure to unify global finance is now live. Today, Sergey Nazarov announced that the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE) is live, marking the start of a new era in onchain development by enabling anyone to build institutional-grade smart contracts with data, interoperability, compliance, and privacy. Sergey also announced Chainlink Confidential Compute, a technical breakthrough that unlocks previously-impossible onchain privacy use cases such as private transactions, privacy-preserving tokenization, confidential data distribution, and much more. Together, these services expand the capabilities of the Chainlink platform to bring the world onchain: “At the end of the day, Chainlink is really the only system that can bring DeFi and TradFi together.” Watch the full keynote now ↓ Full presentation slides here:

The DTCC knows there won’t be one blockchain to rule them all The number of chains will only continue to accelerate as ledger technology improves, necessitating interoperability That’s why DTCC have partnered with Chainlink across a variety of initiatives and use cases ✅ Bridging DTCC App Chain to other public/private blockchain ecosystems via Chainlink CCIP ✅ Bringing NAV data onchain securely via Chainlink to unlock tokenized funds (involves DTCC, J.P. Morgan, State Street, BNY Mellon, and more) ✅ Using AI-powered Chainlink oracles to modernize corporate actions data processing to bring equities onchain (involves DTCC, Swift, Euroclear, UBS, and dozens more financial institutions) Chainlink 🤝 financial market infrastructure

Chainlink has a moat that almost nobody talks about, and it's getting stronger as TradFi moves onchain. "The essential monopoly that Chainlink has is in bringing data onchain securely." Blockchains can't natively get Bloomberg-style financial data. Oracles bridge that gap, and Chainlink dominates that space. With CCIP 2.0 just launched for cross-chain interoperability, Jeff calls it an "almost impregnable moat" and has a $200 target on $LINK by 2030. FT Standard Chartered John Gillen - WartimeEthereum.eth Nexo

Rob lays out his case for Chainlink as the clearest winner of the industry going legit. "Chainlink is one of the most well-positioned benefactors of the legitimization of the industry." "Chainlink is so systemically instrumental to the entire DeFi complex." "As the tokenization thesis plays out and we get hundreds of trillions of dollars of assets tokenized, all of that floods the onchain economy and flows into DeFi." "Chainlink is connected and helping power all of those DeFi protocols." "I think Chainlink is in a very strong position to get re-rated."

Yeah, Chainlink $LINK has been stuck for years. Watch this Rollup interview, because the next stage of tokenization could change how people value Chainlink completely. Most people hear “tokenized stocks” and think the job ends once the stock is put onchain. It doesn’t. Once markets run 24/7, everything behind those markets also has to keep running. -Prices. -Margin. -Collateral. -Securities lending. -Prime brokerage. -Compliance. -Cash settlement. -Cross-chain movement. -Risk management. That backend is where I think Chainlink gets really interesting. And DTCC is already validating the architecture. DTCC processed roughly $4.7 quadrillion in securities transactions in 2025 and serviced about $114 trillion of securities. Now its Collateral AppChain is integrating Chainlink Runtime Environment, Chainlink data, and cross-chain functionality for workflows like valuation, margining, collateral optimization, settlement and post-trade processes. That is serious. Think about a tokenized NVIDIA position trading on a Sunday. Its price moves. Margin requirements change. Collateral needs to be revalued. Maybe more collateral has to move. Maybe cash sits on another network. Maybe the security is held by a different custodian. All of that has to coordinate automatically. That is the market Chainlink is building around. CRE can coordinate the workflow. CCIP can connect different networks. Data Streams can handle valuation. ACE can bring compliance into the transaction. Fulcrum can handle institutional financing and collateral. And Chainlink just launched Fulcrum specifically around this kind of 24/7 cross-chain institutional financing. The bigger the tokenized market becomes, the more these assets need to be traded, lent, pledged, margined, moved and financed. One tokenized stock can create dozens of recurring Chainlink interactions. That is a lot bigger than one oracle price feed. And there is finally a clearer connection back to the token. Institutions can pay Chainlink in fiat or stablecoins. Payment Abstraction can convert eligible revenue into LINK. The Chainlink Reserve already holds millions of LINK, while tens of millions more are staked. So I’m looking at a much bigger equation now: 24/7 finance → more Chainlink workflows → more revenue → more LINK entering the economic system. $LINK price may have spent years frustrating holders. But if Chainlink becomes one of the standards coordinating tokenized finance, I think the market eventually has to look at LINK very differently.

Traditional finance is moving onchain. Chainlink $LINK is powering it. Blockchains need real-world data to function as financial rails: equity prices, interest rates, foreign exchange, and more. Grayscale Head of Research Zach Pandl shares why Chainlink is the infrastructure making that possible. Grayscale Chainlink Trust ETF $GLNK offers investors exposure to $LINK without the hassle of directly buying, storing, or safekeeping it.

Okay, full 5 second laugh break done. But wait… This tiny DIY robot made in China is already learning how to grab, move, and manipulate toys autonomously inside a real home environment. That is literally the first real step toward personal robotics and autonomous home manipulation. Toys are officially entering the robot era. At first you laugh, then two seconds later you realize this is exactly how robotics culture spreads: from labs running fully autonomous humanoids to factories to garages and now directly into kids’ bedrooms with DIY robots already doing miniature warehouse robotics. This is physical AI leaving the cloud and entering the living room. And honestly, it’s exciting watching this happen live on X right now.

Chainlink throws its weight behind the CLARITY Act. Its oracles having enabled some $33 trillion in transaction value, few blockchain platforms carry more gravitas than Chainlink. In a new post on X, $LINK shared its view that "clarity fosters innovation, protects consumers, & helps establish America as the crypto capital of the world." Many US politicians and blockchain industry leaders have promised that approval is fast approaching - Just words? Or something real this time?
