These errors predominantly benefited Democratic-leaning states in the allocation of congressional seats and electoral college votes. “In contrast to the 2020 census, no states were found to have had such errors in the 2010 census. “In 2020, the Post-Enumeration Survey suggests that there were overcounts in New York, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Hawaii, Delaware, Minnesota, Utah, and Ohio.
