$SPCX looks expensive but also remember market is paying for what SpaceX could earn by 2028 if Starlink keeps scaling, launch remains the toll road to orbit and Starship starts lowering the cost curve of space. If EBITDA grows toward ~$50B by 2028 then a $2T valuation is closer to ~40x EBITDA which isn't crazy for a monopoly-like launch business with a high-margin Starlink engine and upside from AI infrastructure and orbital compute.

Software may be starting to show early signs of life but I still think the “hard” side of AI has the cleaner lane for 2026 and probably most of 2027. We're nowhere close to done with the physical AI buildout since compute demand is still ahead of supply, power is becoming the bottleneck and every layer of AI infrastructure still needs more capacity. I own some software names but I still see this as more of an oversold bounce than a true leadership rotation away from the companies building the AI infrastructure layer. Software probably becomes a cleaner leadership group once inference costs fall, enterprise AI budgets expand and AI features start flowing through margins but that still feels more like a 2027 story to me.

Every major AI company is hitting the same wall: Power constraints. OpenAI, Google, Anthropic are all racing to build bigger data centers. But they're all stuck on Earth fighting for the same limited power grid. Elon's solution: Move the data centers to SPACE. Last Friday, SpaceX filed with the FCC to launch up to 1 MILLION satellites. Not for internet. For compute. Solar-powered AI data centers in orbit that run 24/7 with zero cooling costs and unlimited energy from the sun. Look: On Earth, you need massive power plants, cooling systems, and infrastructure that costs billions and takes years to build. But in space? You have direct solar power. No cooling needed. Near-constant sunlight. According to Elon: "Within 2-3 years, space will be the lowest-cost way to generate AI compute."
