He is a prime example of how ministerial accountability to the people—the hallmark of true democracy—is a distant dream in this government. He should have been sacked and removed unceremoniously a long time ago. He allows UGC guidelines to foster caste poison on campus, ignores NEET paper leaks, and now this surgical strike of digital checking of CBSE board papers. Thousands of students have suffered, especially science students. I have witnessed many 12th-grade science students who either scored 10 to 15 percent less or even failed. The worst part is that students are unable to get scanned copies for revaluation because the site has crashed. I sincerely believe that there can be no greater crime than playing with students' futures. People like him will likely lead to the formation of an actual COCKROACH JANTA PARTY.

She is saying that her parents don't let her wear what she wants. First, go file a case against your parents. We as a society don't care whatever you do. Second, she said - Why do boys have no guidelines while girls have guidelines on what to wear in college. The answer to that is - Boys already always wear t-shirts, shirts, and jeans. They are properly dressed. While girls wear shorts, sleeveless tank tops, and such dresses that show their body. Check any event or fest and you'll see the difference in the way boys and girls dress. Colleges know if they don't have guidelines, girls will literally wear the shortest clothes possible. Also, why do these girls never talk about studying, careers, jobs, responsibilities? Why is feminism always about wearing short clothes?

But you (govt) are showing hesitancy on this in the court. Don't play delay tactics with us. We will not accept this. Eye witness and student Akash Pathak says, "Calling them students, in my opinion, would be a very bad thing, given the indecency they displayed, the way they are abusing journalists based on caste, and the way they are raising slogans against Brahminism. Schumer responds: "You are so right. We have talked to police officers across the country and the police department in Minneapolis itself, and they know that these ICE agents are so totally untrained in police doctrine. They don't know what to do, how to do it, and it ends up even killing people and causing such mayhem that, yes, you are 100% right. #WATCH | Noida, UP | On new guidelines of UGC, BJP leader Kalraj Mishra, "We have demanded that the unconstitutional rules, which are based on caste discrimination, and which include OBCs, should be amended. I believe that all sections of society need to be included in this. If any student from any caste or community faces discrimination, they should have the opportunity to file a complaint, and I believe that everyone should be included in this process. I feel that the guidelines provided by the UGC will increase separatism and violate the fundamental rights of the Constitution, and therefore, it will be considered unconstitutional. Secondly, we demand that punitive action be taken against those who file false complaints. Currently, there is no provision for punitive action. We believe that there should be such a provision. Thirdly, we demand that the grievance redressal committee, which has been designated as the Equal Opportunity Centre, should have representation from all sections of society. Furthermore, the committee's timeframe, scope, jurisdiction, and other details should be clearly defined. We also met with a delegation today. We discussed all these points with them. We also met with Dharmendra Pradhan, the Education Minister."

Bihar’s Post-Matric Scholarship move • Bihar’s NDA government announced 100% fee coverage (no cap) for SC and ST students in IITs, NITs and AIIMS. • Support for polytechnics, ITIs and other institutes has also been increased. • EWS students are excluded. If the intent was genuine support, collateral-free education loans for all needy students could have been offered instead of selective inclusion. Centre repeats the pattern • The Centre partnered with a physics coaching foundation to fund free coaching for 5,000 students for UPSC, SSC and other exams. • Only reserved categories are eligible; EWS is again excluded. The core issue • EWS quota exists on paper, but not in policy benefits. • True equity would be need-based opportunity, not category-based exclusion. • Long-term impact comes from better schools and foundational education, not repeated cash distribution. So the question remains: welfare-driven policy, or vote-driven appeasement?

#WATCH | Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: On the Supreme Court staying UGC's Equity Regulations, Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Priyanka Chaturvedi says, "I welcome this judgment because the UGC guidelines are highly discriminatory. To address discrimination, they were bringing more discrimination to campuses, and there are three points I have continued to raise, which even the Supreme Court has validated. The concerns that I was expressing with regard to the penalty clause. What do we do with regard to that, in terms of the ability for everybody who is on the campus, who faces some kind of discrimination? They should be able to go to the equity committee to address it. Unfortunately, that was not doing that. It was only giving a platform to SC, ST, and OBCs to be able to do that, while the general caste students were left out in the cold, and they did not have that particular pathway. Equity squads, through the implicit and explicit nature of discrimination, could take a call. Implicit could mean anything as far as the equity squad is concerned. Would it be through words, through actions, or through some perceptions or preconceived mindset about discrimination? Those were the things which I was speaking about. The Supreme Court has put a stay on it. I welcome it, and I hope the Government of India withdraws this particular guideline and ensures that any guideline that comes into place to address discrimination is not discriminatory in its nature."

Deoghar, Jharkhand: On the Supreme Court’s stay on the new UGC regulations, BJP MP Nishikant Dubey says, "...That is why I said that whatever confusion people may have will be resolved according to Articles 14 and 15. Yesterday, you saw that the Solicitor General of India also stated that the points being raised are correct. The Supreme Court has issued its order, and after that, the UGC regulations remain valid.
