A Russian drone is adjusting a fire with four guided thermobaric bombs on the position of one of our brigades near the village of Lyptsi, a key village on the approaches to Kharkiv. The small landing is literally demolished by powerful explosions, and the hits are very accurate. After this strike, with the help of a drone adjustment, a Russian assault group went to assault the landing site. They were supported from above by a drone that dropped grenades. And even in such difficult conditions and after such strikes, a group of Ukrainian soldiers survived. And they, all shell-shocked, did not run away or surrender. A few Ukrainians dug themselves out of the trenches completely covered with earth, got up, and suddenly met the Russian assault group with aimed fire. Ukrainian heroes withstand a high density of enemy strikes, they fight to the death for every meter of land near Kharkiv and do everything possible and impossible. They know that they will not be covered from the air, they know they will have to equip their positions on the front line themselves with shovels, they know that the enemy has a lot of force. But they are Ukrainians, and behind them is Kharkiv, and next to them are their brothers-in-arms, who are fighting and also repelling all Russian attacks. All of the Christian communities in Nigeria’s Middle Belt that are deserted have been kept desolate by the Islamists using this very tactic. They attack and kill as many as they can. They do not occupy the communities immediately, but leave behind their scouts (usually younger and harmless looking herders). These scouts update the Islamist fighters of any activities suspected to be attempts by the Christians to return home. The videos here are from communities in Apa, Benue State in 2024. A group of women who got tired of the deplorable circumstances of living in IDP camps attempted to go home to get some food. It took the a lot of bravery from volunteers and the military to reach them from behind enemy line.

If you want kids, have 2. And make sure they are 14-18 months a part. It’s a life hack Until they are both at least two, life will be hard. But once they are that age, throw them in the same room together. Encourage them to be best friends. And then watch as the fruit of your labor multiplies. I often just sit and watch their brains explode as they amuse themselves. Sometimes I sleep in and they are alone in the living room for a good hour by themselves. I’ve even come out before and they already fed themselves breakfast

They didn't have a trailer cause they had to brush their teeth in a bathroom." the fact that from their first moment on set, there was this complete trust between them. They were in it together, they were gonna take the best care of each other. And this, this safe space they found in each other, it always remained as it became part of their own relationship. Protesters at Saint Annes police station last night. I have seen in the Echo today that politicians have come out condemning the next protest organised by the same person on County Road next week. Country Road is one of many areas in Liverpool that has undergone massive demographic and cultural change in a short space of time. Many of the locals are upset that this has been done to their home without consulting with any of them. It’s not that they were ignored. They were never part of the decision-making process to begin with. So they are taking to the streets to make themselves heard. And now they are being silenced by the very people that did this to them.

The political establishment in Australia is not entirely stupid, they just think you are. As they lament the rise of One Nation, they pretend they don't understand it. Because if they showed us that they understand the resons, they then have to make a major admission. Hanson's rise is all their fault. Because the major parties and the faux independents have been on a unity ticket on all of the big problems they have jointly caused for decades. They can’t hide from the messes they have caused, so now they want to blame everyone else but themselves. Today, on ABC’s Insiders, Annabel Crab belled the cat, as Karvelas did the two step crab walk. Annabel correctly diagnoses the political situation here right now. It is not a love for Hanson, or One Nation that is causing the surge, but a total lack of faith in the other offerings. It almost does not matter what Hanson says or does, because her greatest strengths are that she is there, and she is not one of them. Those are enduring traits and the more the major parties hit her, the more the media carry on about her, and the more the establishment present her as a “deplorable”, the more people they will push in her direction. It is like they are in quicksand... the more they struggle, the deeper they sink. People are growing ready for wild political change. A worsening economy and a growing collapse in social cohesion has put the nation on edge. The big end of town want to pretend everything will be fine when the latest special envoy delivers their newest report, but nothing changes. Nothing changes because nothing is supposed to change. Because the government, the opposition and their Green Teal cheer squads want things just the way they are. They didn’t just pass all of the enabling legislation for no reason. There are real beneficiaries of these things, it is just that none of the beneficiaries are the Australian people. Australians have broadly been the target of the changes made to benefit foreign interests, the political class and major corporations. We have been targeted for so long it is impossible not to feel the cross-hairs of the scope resting on our forehead. Hanson and her team simply have to talk about that feeling... they don’t even have to have a solution. Because when the establishment continues to pretend the problems don't exist, just acknowledging the pain is enough to earn a vote. Annabel nails this sentiment in just a few words. Right as Karvelas changes the subject, because it is not that this isn’t obvious, it is because Karvelas is there to cover it up, and hit Hanson’s credibility again. Fuelling the vicious cycle of the rise of the outsider. Unless something significant changes in the establishment, and I don’t expect it will, there will be major upheaval at the next election. Most people will not be voting for their favourite party or person, they will primarily be voting against the status quo, because in their minds, it could not possibly be worse than what we have experienced for decades... but it just might be a little bit better. And that is a risk worth taking. After all most of us like a punt. I just want Australia back.
