Do not underestimate the importance of this. It is a loud message to Erdogan that India is no longer taking a backseat while he supports Pakistan's occupation of Kashmir and its funding, arming, and training of terrorists. India is now a global power and is becoming involved in global issues. In international forums, Cyprus has consistently supported India on the Kashmir issue, and India has always supported Cyprus against the Turkish occupation, but now things are moving up a notch with Modi being personally escorted by Christodoulides to have a full understanding of the issues Cyprus faces.
