I was just talking about this. It is way out of hand. I cant even watch my games on nba app anymore. Its at the point where I’m questioning if its worth it. I dont want to sign up to all these providers!

A lot of sports bar are not able to air some of these playoff games… why? Bars and restaurants can’t just use a personal streaming account (Peacock, Prime Video, etc.) on a Roku or Apple TV. They need proper commercial rights, which are more expensive and sometimes limited or unavailable for certain services. Using a residential account for a public business violates copyright and can lead to significant fines

Yes. It’s hard to know when the games are on because not on regular tv they’re not advertised enough. But honestly, even though I pay for all the services they switch from night to night, I refuse to watch because it seems like a cheap cheat.

100% i unsubscribed from my nba tv package because that's how they started the season. also the prime broadcast sucked - the difference in sound between espn vs prime is analog/hd. maybe it's the tv settings but im not changing that too - its enough

Probably the first time I’ve agreed with Charles on anything lol But, he is absolutely rt! Go back to the 80s/90s way of games being on regular tv for all to view (NBC/ABC/CBS - whatever)

Every night I gotta check espn to see where the game is being broadcasted. Things are so different from the past. NBA basketball just isn’t the same product we enjoyed in the past.

For the first time ever, I missed two of my team’s playoff games because I don’t have a Peacock subscription. Already having to pay for League Pass, now even the playoffs, which everyone could watch before, are charged for. Charles is right.

Never subscribed to Peacock and never will. About to cancel Amazon for a lot of reasons, but one of them is the absolute crappy SD looking broadcast they provide. There’s a line to my fandom and NBA just crossed it.

Yes! I had to buy my 79 yo mom a smart TV and spend hours teaching her how to use it, just so she could watch the Cavs. I guess that was the goal, but it would have been nice if she could have watched the playoffs just because she’s been a lifelong fan.

Settle down Charles, It literally takes 5 seconds to Google a game's starting time and broadcaster. Playoff viewership is up over 30% partly because cord cutters can now stream the games.

100% agree it may be good for the bottom line, but it is a pain in the ass to find the games you want to watch. I didn’t watch all of the games because I am not adding a subscription for one or two games.

Hate it, I don’t have prime, I pay enough for cable & extra for league pass. The games should be on espn, abc, tnt, league pass, nba tv. It’s making me lose interest.

@NBA needs to have ALL the games on the NBA app not other streaming platforms. How you gone have your product everyone else’s streaming but not on your own!?! League Pass ain’t worth it if you can’t watch the best games! Subs CANCLED!!!

It literally takes 2-3 mins to go to the NBA app and see where games are being played on. They also had them on the same platforms on specific days. Most people don’t have cable anymore.

Chuck’s right on this one. Used to be you turned on the TV after supper and knew the game was there. Now you need a map, three passwords, and a teenager to explain where the fourth quarter went.

Chuck is spot on. The NBA took the money and didn't think about us. Can't believe we have to deal with channel hopping for years to come. I'll never pay extra money to watch a game on my couch that should be free. It was so much better with TNT.

Absolutely, the average fan has no idea what time and where the game is going to be streamed from. The NBA has managed to make watching their product unbearable.

I couldn't agree more! When it was just ESPN and TNT you knew which games were on which network. Simplicity always works better.

This would definitely help with regular season. I never know when or who’s playing
