Blackrock today announced it would be designing its own platform for tokenized securities. There are some advantages and disadvantages of this - mostly disadvantages as it will be hard for a centralized company to make a decentralized project. Imho decentralization is a key aspect - even though securities themselves are centralized - I explain this in the video.
