Q: Its been obviously close between the top four teams. How are you feeling then to miss out on pole? I don't know if that's too much to say but getting P5 today? Lewis: We were never going to get pole, I think, clearly. Mercedes brought an upgrade I think or I just heard so and congrats to them. Their cars always suited this track so it's been it's a good.. happy for them. On our side, it's been very very very tricky but I think a better performance than Ferrari had last year which is positive and still going to be gunning for... trying to see if we can get a podium for once that would be.. that's the goal tomorrow. - F1 2025 Canada -

I honestly thought that we were faster than we were. I think we need to look at our practice sessions because obviously it was very promising on Friday. We made, I think, a step in the wrong direction on Saturday morning and we didn't move from there. And the car was just very weak in the middle and the last sector. So we couldn't get close to the cars ahead. Soso ultimately, I think process-wise we can improve and then set up the direction that we took was wrong. Liam Lawson: Yeah, I mean, from where we started it's positive. I think we had a decent, honestly we had a good race pace when we were in clear air. "Didn't agree with any of the tyres today, no, a very very hard race, I can tell you it was a really really tough race, one being extremely hot, so yeah I had, my start wasn't really very good to be honest, my getaway was poor but then I was on the attack, obviously got past Charles and I thought it wasn't looking too bad in the first few laps with George, I was kind of holding on for a second and then the rear just dropped off on every set, for some reason the balance was very open, very difficult and I think we, I mean on Friday we were down six tenths just in straight line speed, and I have to go and see what the case was today but I'm sure it was not insignificant, but also just grip wise we just couldn't keep up with everyone today, so a very tough one but I'm grateful for the points, the team did a great job with the strategy and with the pit stops, the boys worked so hard on the pit stops so we were proud of them and yeah, not the result we wanted but we got the points atleast." F1 2026 || Austria
