🎙️ Charles Lee: "I've enjoyed watching Ryan (Kalkbrenner) grow as training camp has gone on and during these preseason games. What I liked from him today is that he continues to keep it simple and try to impact winning as best as he possibly can." "Defensively, he's there to... help protect the paint. His communication defensively, especially for a young guy, is really impressive. It shows a good grasp of what we're trying to do on top of just picking things up quickly. And offensively, his screen assists, the offensive rebounding, the ability to have a lob threat... he's got really good hands down there in the paint, too." "He's continuing to grow and also just to earn trust with our staff and with his teammates."show more

🎙️ Charles Lee: "It's been fun to watch him. We knew what we were gonna get when we drafted Ryan (Kalkbrenner)." "He continues to impress defensively, contesting at the rim, helping us dominate or protect the paint, and then offensively his screening assists, his ability to offensive rebound and keep possessions alive or get us other possessions, and his ability to finish above the rim on some of these lobs... just a dual threat." "I love his basketball IQ to understand where I need to be in the dunker to receive passes from guys... our players feel really confident throwing him the ball because they love his hands."

Asked Nuggets coach David Adelman about the season that Jaylen Brown has had, and he gushed about Brown as both a player and a person. "The the elite shooting from mid range is such a big deal in our game, it's the late-clock ability, his overall size, his ability to play in the middle of the floor, which is really hard to come double people and not give up the three point line to a team like they have, I would just say his continued evolution in his game. "He's an elite, All-Star player, two-way player. I just watched him grow over the years, not just the championship year, but with Jayson Tatum, obviously out, more responsibility falls into his hands, and I thought they did a great job building around him for this particular season, with all the shooting that surrounds him." "He's a problem. He's not fun to watch on tape when you have to play against him. I'm a fan of his, just as a pure basketball person, not just as a coach. Actually got to spend some time in Africa, he was such an impressive person. He's good for the NBA. He's going to be a probelm for us tonight." "There was an Africa game that I coach in, that he played in. They used to do that yearly in South Africa. It's an amazing event. He came down there for that. And some of the events that we had to do -- humanitarian stuff, you go out and you see these communities, and just to see his investment in it was really impressive. And he was at a much younger age then. And I remember him in the bubble, speaking up at meetings and things like that." "Some people are born to lead. He definitely stands out as one of those people."

🎙️ Charles Lee on LaMelo Ball last night: "We're always marveled by his shot-making, but what continues to impress me—and what continues to help our team get better and better—is that he's trusting the pass. He's really maximizing everyone around him. He's making them better." "We see (him maturing) defensively. I'm not even sure how many steals he had or anything like that, but he had one blocked shot... just not giving up on plays is the biggest thing. Not always perfect, but not giving up on plays and trying to find a competitive advantage in anything he does defensively." "Our guys rally around that. It becomes contagious as soon as he does something competitively defensively. We all are even more locked in on the game plan because he's our emotional leader. When he's playing well, when he's playing that hard, it gets us all going."

🎙️ Charles Lee: "Kon (Knueppel) should be the Rookie of the Year because of his impact on winning, his consistent production... he's one of the most efficient players, not only as a rookie, in the NBA as a whole." "There's a bunch of stats you can rattle off, but even the fact that he's second in points per possession as the primary defender just shows his ability to play both sides of the ball. His impact on our culture; he's part of one of the biggest franchise turnarounds in a winning season... there's a ton of things. I'm going to use the phrase, it's probably not loved by most, but it's not even close." 🎙️ "He's had a historic season. It'll be important for him, number one, during the offseason, whenever that is, to make sure that he continues to train and prepare for an 82-game season... to prepare to see the best defender every night, to see a lot of different coverages. Because he's such a good player, he's drawn a lot of different coverages. He's drawn the other team's best players. In-game, you feel that they're changing coverages to be able to stop him." "He is a student of the game and he's going to try to figure out how he can be even more historic next year. And I think that just his total care factor is what's going to help elevate him."

🗣️ Mikel Arteta on what Dowman still needs to develop: “At this level, you need to be the best in every phase. “We know what he can do when he's in and around the ball, especially when he's got a bit of space around him. “Defensively, on set pieces, it's not only that. His leadership has to increase, his voice has to increase, his role has to increase within the team, in the dressing room. “There's a lot of things that you need to grow, but at 16, to already do what he does, it's just incredible.”

🎙️ Chris Ryan on Brandon Miller: "I feel like I'm watching that early version of Kevin Durant where there's a learning process happening, but he's also like, 'There is really nothing I can't do.'" "On a nightly basis when I watch the Hornets, for as much as Kon is the reincarnation of Klay Thompson and LaMelo is so fun, I really find myself focusing on Brandon." 🎙️ Zach Lowe: "He does a little bit of everything, and their surge basically corresponds almost exactly to him getting healthy and having the best sustained stretch of his career. He's awesome. He's up to 38% from three." "When the playmaking comes with him—and you can see it, he kind of sees it. Sometimes he sees it late, sometimes he telegraphs it a little bit, sometimes he's a little laborious—but he sees it and he's trying to level up in that sense. And when that comes, look out." 🎙️ Charles Lee on LaMelo Ball coming off the bench: "Props to him. He wanted to do it. He agreed to come off the bench to allow himself to be there for his teammates (in Q4). He's so competitive—he wants to help us win as much as he possibly can, any way he possibly can."

Aaron Gordon: “Russ is not just a dog, Russ is a wolf.” “He's different. Offensively and defensively, he's always on 10, always on 12, and his ability to facilitate, play-make, just make plays on both ends of the floor is just really amazing.”

Sturm on where Minten is in his growth in his first full pro season: "Sometimes it just takes time...I think he just has to grow. He's not a man yet, I think he's still a kid, and you can see it in his face. I think as soon as he gets a little bit bigger, I think then automatically he's going to get faster too. I think he has really good speed, and I think that's something he's going to get better at. Faceoffs, that's something we need him big time because he's going to kill for us, and we want him to be on power play too. "So there's a lot of little things I would say, but I'm not concerned, because the things you can't teach, he has it."

🎙️ Charles Lee on Ryan Kalkbrenner: "He's just like the perfect big and the perfect teammate as well." "It's been a joy to watch him. A lot of that's Ryan, a lot of that's the coaching he had before he got here, and the foundation he came in with."

🚨 Full Remarks of President Trump on Elon Musk today: "I can't speak more highly about any individual. He's an incredible guy. He's a brilliant guy. He's a wonderful person. I've seen him with his family. I've seen him with a lot of his children. He's got a lot of children. He treats him good. He's He loves His children, but he's a brilliant guy, and he was a tremendous help, both in the campaign and in what he's done with DOGE. And you know what we're talking about, almost $200 million and rising fast, because many of the things that we were looking at are now being found out to be fact. It's terrible. I mean, the fraud, the waste, the abuse, the everything that's happened is just terrible. So I also know that he was treated very unfairly by the I guess he called the public, by some of the public, not by all of it. He makes an incredible car makes everything he does is good, but they took it out on Tesla, and I just thought it was so unfair, because he's trying to help the country, but he has helped the country. I also want him to make sure that he's going to be in great shape, and I know he is. I mean, he's going to be, he's going to do great he loves the country. He didn't need to do this. He did it, and I told him, I said, you know, whenever you're ready, I'd like to keep him for a long time, but whenever you're ready, he's an exceptional that when you see those rockets go up and come back and land in the same gantry, nobody else can do that, but this man. So he's just an incredible person, and he's a friend of mine, and he's a nice person too. He's a very nice person. He really helped the country. Saved us a lot of money. And I heard him say that he'll start easing which is always, he was always, at this time, going to ease out. And when he goes back to Tesla that will be taken care of, it was just, it's artificial. These were sick people that thought they were doing something. He really, he's a great patriot, and he should, really, it should be, it shouldn't be the way that should never have happened to him. And I will tell you right now, he makes a great product. He makes a great product. It's a great car. It's great everything. Starlink is great. What he does is good. He's doing medical things that are amazing. And we have to, at some point, let him go and do that."

Today young Moon is practicing his sits with distractions! Even though sit is a really basic thing to do, there's construction noises and machinery he can see from the deck, a strange bird in the tree, and I'm doing circles around the human. All that makes it really hard to pay attention and do what he's asked when he's asked. He's doing really well learning to focus with all this going on! Drop Moon a ♥️ in the comments to let him know he's a good boy!!! #PuppyTraining #GoodDogs Video description: Moon, a young lab is off leash on a deck. He's asked to sit and when he does a treat is tossed behind him. As he comes back, Chesnyy is asked to circle the human to distract him and he's asked to sit again. The process is repeated.

🎙️ Charles Lee: "I'm actually excited about the progress (LaMelo Ball)'s been making every day. He's feeling a little bit better, able to do more on the court." "Our performance staff and him have sat down—all three of us actually—laid out a plan and Melo was excited about it. I'm excited about it. Our organization is excited about it. At the end of the day, we're trying to focus on how we can continue to maximize how many games he can play this season." "He's continuing to strengthen and work on things so that he's able to play in as many games as possible. The movement gets better and better every day."
