Karmelo Anthony backlash Woke up to all of this hate speech this morning. It was disheartening to hear Karmelo's mom joining in. These people don't represent most African Americans just like the KKK doesn't represent most white Americans, but the reaction of Karmelo's mother was telling... They have about $700K in donations which should keep them in a position to continue living their current lifestyle in their mansion (likely they are renting it for about $9k/month) while they look for an appellate attorney. Karmelo got 35 years for killing Austin Metcalf by plunging a knife in his chest after he was pushed by Austin at a track meet. Karmelo will be eligible for parole in 17.5 years. I have done a lot of research on Karmelo and combined with my familiarity with the Texas prison system, this will be Shawshank moment for Karmelo when those doors slam. Not in terms of abuse from guards, but in terms of going from a cushy suburban life to a prison where there are gangs and where there is very little freedom. He may be considered a hero among the black inmates though. He will have to join a black prison gang to survive and that will come at a cost...Yes, you know what I mean. If he gets the Tolford or the Coffield units, it will really be tough, but he will be alive and if he behaves will be out before he is 37 and have a life ahead of him to live, unlike his murder victim. His mom should be more concerned about pleading to the judge and officials for Karmelo to get a unit like Huntsville. She could have put a dent in her plea with all that slandering that spewed from her mouth. That makes her much less sympathetic. New Mugshot of Karmelo below. But it is insulting what these parents said in this interview: 👉 Karmelo is not a murderer (He is now) 👉 Karmelo didn't plan to hurt that kid (He sure did) 👉 Jury had their minds made up before the trial 👉 Every witness lied on the stand (Yeah, right... 🤦‍♂️) 👉 A black man cannot get a fair trial like a white man in Texas They are living in a world of race baiting, victimhood obsession and now fear that the GiveSendGo $$ are gone - just like their son, the murder. He underestimated the capacity of the young man's supporters spreading outright lies in the BLM social media ecosystem. This is a long clip, but it must be seen to be believed. Morris Dwayne Turner, who protested outside the trial, tells a YouTuber with 100k+ subscribers an insane series of outright lies that would have been DOA if the arguments had been broadcast on video: -A cell phone video of "the whole fight" was shared on Snapchat and Reddit -Austin Metcalf pushed Karmelo so hard that he hit his head on a bleacher -Karmelo "suffered from seizures" so any blow to his head was perceived as a potentially fatal threat -Karmelo got "jumped" by a group of young men -Jeff Metcalf invited all the witnesses to a barbecue and threatened their parents. Hunter cold-cocked the boy" -After the first punch, "they all start beating on Karmelo" -Karmelo escaped the group but "Austin grabbed his hoodie and pulled him back. I have had about 24 hours to collect my thoughts on the fact that Charleston White placed me in his followers’ crosshairs in his last interview. White created an entire fake narrative in the video, a self-defense narrative that I know came straight from Drew Anthony, because these are the same exact words Drew would spew at me on Facebook Messenger for days on end. Every time I released new information, documents, or records, Drew would message me, accusing me of harassment. White said, “Whoever Sarah Fields is, you’re a rotten motherf*cker. And if I had an army to put behind this family, I would.” He also said that “he (Karmelo) should have killed both of them.” These are the people the Metcalf family and I have been dealing with since the beginning of April.
