Mexico isn’t a small poor country either. They just have huge disparity of their wealth. Charlie was so ignorant it’s actually sad. He could have been a decent human being if he actually bothered to get a college education.

He didn’t say Mexicans, he said Mexico. The country. Why can’t Mexico take care of the cartels? And, if not, why won’t the govt let the US come and engage with them? What is Mexico lacking that they have such poverty? It certainly isn’t industrious people. So, what is the problem? Terrible corruption?
