I shared my notes on Charlie Munger's talk on The Psychology of Human Misjudgment a while back. It's one of the best talks ever given. If you want to read my notes, grab them here:

@Hashim11 One time he started a commencement address saying, “solemof you are asking why the speaker is so old. Well, obviously it’s because he hasn’t died.” Classic Charlie Munger @NTA_R3 @odngkr

@dezmond_roleci Heart breaking to hear that but it's a reminder to cherish our good health and time.

Heart broke when I heard this part of the interview. Made me cherish and appreciate our health and mobility even more.

“You’re pretty active: on zoom, you have breakfast and lunch.” 😬 Hey, for 99 just breathing is being pretty active. The way is mind didn’t dim was something to behold.

His mind is still sharp at 99, I only wish there were more of these zoom calls or meetups that were recorded as podcasts so the world gets to hear more of his wits, humor and wisdom.

This answer from Charlie reminded me of the advice in @PeterAttiaMD ‘s book Outlive for increasing our health span/resilience in advance of old age. Charlie was a superhuman who claims to have never exercised or particularly watched his diet and ended up sharp as a tack still at 99.9 years old. We can’t all count on that, however.
