Each day the average person gets: • 41 texts • 100 emails • 5 calls If responding to each takes an average of 3 minutes... That's 7 hours a day. The harsh truth: There's not time to respond. It's overwhelming, unless you own it. 3 steps to become Easy to Find, Hard to Reach: 1) If you get asked a question more than 3 times & it has more than 3 steps... • write a blog post on it • a twitter thread • create a product • hell, make a book My best work is not me answering emails & setting meetings. It’s the courses I spend months creating & update constantly. 2) When someone wants your time, tell them, "Oh ya, here's something I wrote on that! Check it out and lmk what q's you have after that?" Only 1 in 10 people will follow up. They want you to do the work for them. 3) When people DO follow up, use those moments to create deeper, bigger content on the subject. Until you have so much that it's literally more valuable to read it all than to "pick your brain." Respecting your time is scary, then amazing. You either protect your time, or give it all away. Up to you.

Here’s the easiest method that helped many users 👇 1️⃣ Don’t watch content randomly Every day, new videos/articles get published on arc. So first: – Open 2 tabs/windows – Tab 1 = Arc Home page – Tab 2 = Contribution page (where you see points for videos/articles) Now on the Contribution page: – Click the 3 dots/menu – Find the “Find/Search in page” option 👀 Then: – Copy one video/article title from Home page – Search it inside Contribution page Now you’ll understand: – which content already gave points – which one DIDN’T give points yet If no points were received before for that content, then watching it now can still reward points 🤝 This is the main trick most people miss. 2️⃣ Watch content in an organized way Start either: – from oldest content OR – newest content But stay consistent. Every day: – Watch around 4 videos – Read around 5 articles ⚠️ Don’t randomly open 20 videos together. "At the very beginning of the video, to minimize drop off, you want to assure them that those expectations are being met." "If you're putting a million Orbeez in a pool, don't start the video with you shopping for your mom's birthday present." "Just say: this is 100 million Orbeez. We're going to fill this pool and this entire backyard with them." "Match the expectations. Then exceed them. Blow their mind. Be like: you're also getting even more." Anyone can clickbait. The difference is delivery. "We say we put 100 million Orbeez in the backyard. We put 100 million Orbeez in the backyard." Here's the algorithm truth no one wants to hear. "Anytime you say the word algorithm, just replace it with audience." "The algorithm didn't like that video? No. The audience didn't like that video." "If you're not retaining a viewer, would it make sense to promote it? Why would you promote a 10-minute video that people watch on average a minute and a half?" "Literally all the algorithm does is reflect what the people want. If you deny that, you just make terrible videos and are trying to find a scapegoat." His reinvestment strategy was relentless: "For the last eight or nine years, every dollar I've made, I just spent it the next month on content." "I just did that every single month. It just kept getting bigger and bigger. And here we are." Meanwhile, he lived in a $700/month duplex. Split with a roommate. $360 each. "Sometimes we're filming for 3 or 4 days. 10 hours a day. 30, 40 hours of filming plus months of setup." "Most creators probably film for a couple hours and set up for a day." "We brainstorm video ideas relentlessly. Hours every day." "By always doing all those things, it just distinctively sets it so far apart that in my head it's like: why would you not watch it?" Viewers aren't stupid. "They can tell when you half-ass a video or if you really put in effort." "If they can tell you're putting in a lot of effort, they're going to be more likely to click on future videos." "Once you build that trust, they get to a point where it doesn't matter what you upload. They just know it's high effort. They're just conditioned to watch because you have a good track record." On why most creators burn out: "A lot of people aren't willing to put in 10-hour days because they don't like what they're doing." "If you don't enjoy it, you're going to burn out. You're doing this for years, not months." "I just had the blessing of finding what I loved at a young age." "To get to this level, it takes a decade. Most people don't find what they love till their young 20s. So they'd be where I'm at in their 30s." "I just lucked out and found it when I was really young." Stories I Never Told, Episode 2 The year was 2008 or 2009 (my memory fails me). Deon Boakye’s Alewa and a Yung Cee Song (Guru will later take that beat and make a song called Alkayida that started a revolution) had the radio on lock in Kumasi (DJ KWAKU SLIM drop a video mix if you have any of those songs still). I was a skinny SS graduate who had no clear idea what he wanted to do with his life. Uni was looking like it wouldn’t come on (more on that later). I tried entrepreneurship and my cousin cheated me. Then the homie K Rich tried to hook me up with a JSS teaching job at Peniel (Bremang) but the headmaster said I’ll worry the girls and tried to get me to teach class 3 (I failed that interview because I didn’t prepare for that). Eventually I found a safe space in Plus 2 Cafe (Maakro) surrounded by like minded young boys thrust into adulthood who were finding their place in the sun. In between Skype and arguments about who is the best Sark, Yaa Pono or Flowking, I would play a few demos I recorded and the boys will encourage me to take the music seriously. Their push gave me the confidence to take the bold step of moving to Accra to find a manager and take a stab at music whilst getting some education. Fast forward, my debut album brought over 600 people together to have a therapy session called #FMBConcert. And every time the crowd sang along to my lines I remembered those boys - Plus 2, Lincoln, Chameleon, Suffer, Alhaji (who currently manages another Maakro boy named O’Kenneth of Asakaa Boys). If I made it, it’s only because they believed I would.
