I think this specific exploit creates a place for multiple speedrunning categories - with cannon and without it, so why not

You know, when Hugo Martin was reacting to the speedrun of Doom Eternal and seeing xamide fly through the air, he came up with the idea of adding purple goo (the stuff on the ground that slows your movement) in the middle of the air to stop it. Clearly, you know what this means.

You probably *shouldn't* keep it, but since it doesn't really do anything and is just kinda funny, I don't see a reason to remove it. Besides, the clips we're gunna get from this are going to be HILARIOUS.

I mean its not like the game has leaderboards or random lobby join ins. I can only imagine people doin this solo since to get unlockables you have to do specific tasks on the mountain regardless.

"It's not a bug, it's a feature" I think if there's a way to prevent players to go to the next area themselves in general without lighting the campfire, I think that's the best option. The super far cannon issues has provided some of the funniest laughs I've had w/ friends!

Make it so it can only be used in tenderfoot. Any higher difficulty, and a giant bird snatches you out of the air and yeets you back to spawn.

keep the bug but add a check that prevents it from being used to obtain run completion achievements the bug itself is way too funny to get rid of LOL

If you wanna be the fun devs then keep it in. This isn't entirely a gamebreaking bug since players are doing this by their choice. So if players don't like the bug, then don't do it.
