Who told you they’re called app blocks?! What would you like to see in this experience, what’s missing, what’s awkward?

chatgpt of course my complaints are probably more with the model than the feature: - chatgpt should better understand what the feature does and how it will look and be played from the user perspective so its better at designing the flow of the game (if you tell it to research game ideas to make as app blocks it comes back with ideas that just wouldnt work well with what its able to do and make, especially when it depends heavily on visuals (would also be cool if chatgpt had some easy way for it to create visuals to use for everything it makes rather than it always being some janky poorly made visual)) - would be great in general if openai models had a better feel for what is good or bad visually and functionally for games and similar things. its always the same ugly slop visuals (things only look and feel good if you tell it exactly how to make it) - chatgpt really needs to have better ideas. if you ask it for a game idea it could make with its app block feature its always the same slop ideas. you can only ever make anything good with ai if almost all of the idea including all the little details is your original idea

try it here!

mind sharing the prompt

Create this directly as a fully interactive App Block inside ChatGPT. Do not give me source code, a code block, a downloadable file, a sandbox link, setup instructions, or an explanation. Your response must actually render the working App Block. Make a polished real-time generative shader playground that fills most of the available view and looks immediately beautiful and dynamic. It should continuously morph and flow like a mix of plasma, liquid, smoke, nebula, and energy. The animation should feel smooth, mesmerizing, and high-end. Include live controls for: - Intensity - Color hue - Saturation - Brightness - Speed - Scale / zoom - Distortion - Contrast - Glow feel - Symmetry - Mouse / touch reactivity Include preset buttons for: - Plasma - Lava - Aurora - Ocean - Void - Neon Ink Include a “Randomize but keep it beautiful” button. The shader should react to mouse or touch movement in a visually satisfying way. The controls should update the visual instantly with no page reload. Include a reset button and a fullscreen or expanded-view friendly layout. Make the interface minimal, sleek, and visually polished. Prioritize the visual quality of the shader, smooth performance, and responsiveness over unnecessary complexity.

@zazzygfx I tried it twice and got the same response that it couldn't do it.
