@scispace_ already does that with academic papers... it can also take tables, charts and diagrams in image format as inputs and explain them !!! I came across that late last year ! its insane !

Not necessary, i already created my own with python. It allows me to run stuff locally assuring privacy & security. Took me 2 hours to write the code.

I tried several of these ‚Chat with your PDF‘ apps, but they all hallucinate often, which is a no-go when trying to understand documents. Hallucination problem in LLMs has to be solved first, then this will be a great tool.

Wednesday: I was previously using a basic OCR API and I replaced it with the Gemini 2.0 Flash model, which is insanely good at PDF parsing. Thursday: I bought the domain pdftoexcelai[dot]com.
