Crimson Desert previews seem ovewhelmingly positive with reviewers impressed with the game's scale, combat, open world, and attention to detail! • "One of the best skill trees I've ever seen" with 6 different playstyles • Almost every node unlocks a new combat ability • Unlock new skills by collecting Abyss Artifacts • Artifacts seem pretty easy to come by with almost every mob dropping one • You can also observe new skills from NPCs • Open world has random events • NPCs can randomly rob you and you can chase or tackle them • Stealing requires a mask or disguise or else you end up getting chased by high level guards, getting arrested, and paying a hefty fine • IGN says the open world reminded them of RDR2 • Open world is "packed" - IGN says the scale of the map had them taken back • You can interact with nearly every NPC, with some offering side quests • Skill tree includes also includes improved movement abilities like better jumping and gliding • Greymane faction system lets you manage a crew, send them on missions, and earn resources • Some previewers mentioned that the controls can feel cumbersome or over complicated • 6 hours of playtime is only scratching the surface but impressed with the scale and attention to detail • Releasing March 19th on PS5, Xbox, and PC

✨ I can now generate 3d assets for my drone sim at directly from Cursor (sponsor of #vibejam) I need buildings that you'd see in a war torn city, like warehouses in ruins, broken down abandoned houses, bombed out bridges etc. Nano Banana Pro or 2 can generate them really well and then you can put them in an image-to-3d model and you get a GLB or FBX That one you can then import into your Three.js game, the models might be big though, in my case like 16MB, so I ask it to compress it and make it more low poly so it loads fast ThreeJS then loads the individual GLBs on page load and puts them in my drone sim somewhere randomly, I think I should remove some of the grass and match the sandy color of the ruins though to make it fit in more

Some idiot has painted a cross on one of the hedgehogs, presumably so they can identify it, for some reason. If you want to identify hedgehogs, do it the proper way: pay attention to their size, shape and albedo. It's not hard if you're not lazy. Painting them is a bad thing. Don't handle hedgehogs (or *any* other wild animals) unless you need to and don't paint a target on them to mark them out by sight or smell to predators. It's stressful for them, the paint might be toxic and it can make it hard for them to curl up when they sense a threat. Just don't fuck with wild animals at all, they are not toys. They are not here for our entertainment. We should be delighted when they visit, not mark them as property.

"Explosion in Kharkiv" or something along those lines is the most frequent post I make. I've probably made a thousand of them by now, if not more. Air raid alerts are so frequent here that I usually don't even post about them. They can last for days, and the citizens of Kharkiv are forced to disregard them. Or we can have twelve of them in a day, and we will also be forced to disregard them. I often see online how central or western Ukraine complains about the alerts, and oh, how much I would give to have an actual solid warning about an attack like them. But "explosions in Kharkiv" always arrive unexpectedly. How surreal it is that we are forced to live like this. How horrific it is that thousands of bombs, missiles, and drones fall on a major city in Europe daily, and all the major press and political figures just pretend it doesn't happen. Because if they admit that it happens and they just watch it year after year, then what kind of people are they? Do they care at all?

This local from Corpus Christi beach tells everyone to please not feed the seagulls. She says that’s a message from all the locals there. However, a great many of the locals chimed in and said go ahead and feed them. Live your best life, and that many of them take their own kind of food to feed the seagulls. One person said, be that person! Experience ljoy and happiness, feed the birds. ❤️ We used to go to West Beach in Galveston where you can drive on the beach. We would load up some crumbs and sit on the back of the tailgate and drive and feed the seagulls with them following us. The kids always loved it. Life is short. Find your beauty where you can. 💯 What do you think? Are you with this local and think that people shouldn’t be feeding the seagulls?
