More and more people are unable to access the resources they need due to digital literacy blocks. Papa has long been helping members adapt to new technology, and they've just announced an enhanced Digital Health Literacy (DHL) offering. The service will help grow virtual care access for dual-eligible, disadvantaged, and low-income members with at-home visits to help them learn the skills they need to access quality health care. Papa has completed more than 54,000 technology visits since January 2022, and their enhanced service will help even more people get the standard of care they deserve 💙

The Government says waiting lists are falling. But the reality behind the numbers tells a very different story. In March alone, 351,000 patients were removed from NHS waiting lists without treatment. Almost the entire drop came from people being deleted off lists. At the same time, A&E delays remain near record highs, GP numbers are barely shifting, and frontline staff are still under immense pressure. This is moving people off paper, not helping them into treatment. It also still requires public spending to remove people from waiting lists, meaning Labour are spending millions in pursuit of fake headlines rather than properly treating patients. This GOFO delivery driver delivered a package a few weeks ago to this lady’s house. She threw the package marked fragile up on the porch. The woman who ordered it reported the driver and had to have a replacement sent. Well, the replacement arrived. And, you guessed it, delivered by the same woman and thrown the same way up on the porch. This delivery was handled like the first one and now she is waiting for the replacement to the replacement for the original package. 🤯 I had never heard of GOFO before. They are a smaller, growing delivery company that handles deliveries sometimes for Temu and other sites. You deliver once like this, maybe it’s an accident or oversight? You do it twice and it’s not an accident. 💯 How do these delivery drivers get hired? Is there that big of a shortage that they just hire anyone? What happened to hiring people with experience or training them correctly? Isn’t life getting exhausting?

Caregivers at this nursing home facility are being trained on a better way to redirect dementia and Alzheimer's patients. They may forget the things and people around them, but little things give them a connection sometimes where they are lost in their memories. Both my dad and his mom had Alzheimer's. Music was her connection and his was talking about work for moments of clarity.

The wounded of Gaza gathered again today in a sit-in, as they say they must almost every day, to demand that Gaza's Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization allow them out for treatment they cannot get inside the Strip. Many have carried untreated wounds for years, their injuries worsening as painkillers stop working and infection eats into flesh that no functioning hospital remains to repair, while they watch the crossing open day after day for others but never for them. Their suffering is the direct result of the Israeli occupation's grip on Gaza's borders: after seizing the Rafah crossing in May 2024, it cut medical transfers to a trickle, leaving more than 18,500 patients still waiting to be evacuated, over 4,000 of them children, according to the WHO. Gaza's health ministry says six to ten patients die every day waiting to get out, with well over a thousand already dead on the waiting lists, as 94 percent of the territory's hospitals lie destroyed or damaged and the occupation keeps the sick and wounded from leaving to seek the care that exists just across the border. gassan_.elkhaldi
