We missed our first leg of a flight to mexico once...bf forgot passport. Realized it, had to backtrack an hr to get, which then necessitated driving 15 hrs to atl to catch second flight and meet kids flying with us. Made it. Sucked.

Next time, get to an airport a bit earlier with enough gas in the car, so you have time to find the right one. 😂

I was so afraid of this happening that when my son was getting married I planned to arrive 2 DAYS before the ceremony! There was no way in hell I was going to miss his wedding!

I feel your pain. I travel to Houston a lot. I arrived at Hobby for a flight out of George Bush, all comfortable and ready to go. Look at my app and had 0 time to go to Bush! Return the rental to the wrong airport, grabbed a different flight and headed home 🥴🤣

One curios question is, HOW did the mix-up occur? Did you book at the "wrong" airport and thought you booked at the bigger one, navigated to "airport" and didn't notice it was the wrong one, had a miscommunication/understanding between the two of you during morning of, etc?
