FTSOv1 is now deprecated on Songbird. Starting today, all inflation rewards will transition to v2. Data providers can submit updates until the end of the reward epoch on Saturday, October 26th, after which they can claim rewards and cease providing prices for v1. Season 1 was successful in terms of the traditional reward campaign metric of rewards given out, vs. $ spent. Over $500,000. That isn't possible with this launch and we also don't want that. With SPIN, you can borrow security from well-established networks such as Polkadot or Ethereum. Unlike a Layer 2, which completely gives up chain sovereignty and frequently sacrifices scalability and throughput to satisfy Layer 1 validation protocols, SPIN maintains full sovereignty of the Fast Chain while still benefiting from the security of the Anchor Chain.
