Jackie Young refusing to pass to Caitlin Clark because she is dating DiJonai Carrington is a problem for Team USA. Indiana Fever players often refuse to pass to Sophie Cunningham for a wide open three. Clearly some Fever players are jealous of Sophie or don’t like her politics. The reason I am calling this out is it shows how politics and personal drama takes priority over winning in professional women’s basketball. This must be fixed for the sport to reach its full potential.

You can’t go to war with players like this, from that day I knew it was her shawty over the team. On the court it’s one sound one band, this set the tone for the whole season.

Happy 30th Birthday to Sophie Cunningham Today the Indiana Fever and WNBA fans are celebrating Sophie Cunningham as she turns 30. The Missouri product and Fever guard has brought toughness, energy, and sharpshooting to Indiana since joining the team. Known for her intensity on the court and loyalty to her teammates, Cunningham continues to make an impact both as a player and a presence in the locker room. Sophie has made a name for herself not just by being a strong player, but by standing up for what she believes is right. The WNBA and the country could benefit from more athletes willing to do the same. Wishing Sophie a great birthday and continued success this season.

DiJonai Carrington ejected after hard foul on Sophie Cunningham Chicago Sky guard DiJonai Carrington was ejected in the first quarter Saturday after a flagrant 2 foul on Indiana Fever’s Sophie Cunningham. This AI dramatization shows the sequence: Cunningham went up for a layup when Carrington hit her high in the face from behind. Cunningham fell to the floor, got up, and shoved Carrington before teammates separated them. Officials reviewed the play and ruled the foul “unnecessary” and “excessive.” Carrington looked stunned as she left the game. The WNBA needs to do a better job protecting its players from these kinds of hard, unnecessary fouls. Stars shouldn’t have to absorb contact like this and then fight through the aftermath.

More obscene "journalism" from BBC News. This is how it reports Israel murdering five journalists in Gaza: "There's the question of proportionality. Is it justified to kill five journalists when you were only targeting one?"

Sophie Cunningham’s viral pointing meme explained — (Video: AI) In a recent podcast interview, Fever guard Sophie Cunningham broke down the origin of her now-viral 22-second pointing staredown with DeWanna Bonner during a heated exchange in the Fever-Mercury game. It started after Caitlin Clark got a technical foul — Cunningham stepped in, pointed directly at Bonner, and held the intense stare as she was ushered away. “I was like, now Caitlin got one but why didn’t she get one?” Cunningham explained, defending her teammate and calling out inconsistent officiating in the moment. While Bonner and the Mercury got extremely triggered (as this AI video dramatizes with the emotional reactions and escalation), Cunningham and the Fever kept their cool and composure. The Cunningham clip exploded into countless memes, turning Cunningham into a WNBA internet sensation overnight. This kind of fire and personality is exactly what the league needs. What’s your favorite Sophie Cunningham pointing meme?

Bears players in the locker room like “I need it” before Ben Johnson’s GOOD BETTER BEST chant. This is something you can’t force. This is what a team looks like. They’re all there for one common goal.

Most amateurs stand way TOO FAR from the ball. This is one of the main factors I see in golfers that early extend. Check this catalogue of random players standing up to the ball. 10 points if you can name all of them.

Not sure what to do with this. One players dad was coaching with us. The same players mom is the best women’s high school basketball coach in the nation. The other athlete’s dad was our booster club president and D1 college athlete. Both were straight A students. Both are college graduates, one with a masters degree. But yet, when you ask players to lock in and not address the crowd and they still don’t!!?? Not sure they were too worried that night. Seemed pretty loose. Othell Robinson Jeff Wigginton Daniel Barrera Coach Josh Jynes Stacey Jynes.

is it normal for ring girls to be barefoot???? WNBA star Sophie Cunningham turned heads at UFC 329 in Las Vegas by making a surprise appearance as a guest ring girl. The Indiana Fever guard swapped the basketball court for the Octagon to briefly step into the spotlight as an honorary Octagon Girl. Her high-profile cameo was strictly temporary, as she took on the iconic role for just one single fight during the blockbuster event. Specifically, Cunningham walked out to open Round 1 of the co-main event featuring Paddy Pimblett and Benoît Saint Denis. While inside the cage, she delighted fans by recreating her viral pointing gesture that has become a staple of her basketball persona. This memorable crossover moment highlighted her skyrocketing popularity and expanding influence beyond the WNBA. 🫵🫵🫵❤️❤️❤️
