This is why I always buy my meat from a local butcher shop. No hormones, no vaccines, no artificial anything, just local raised good meat!

I buy 1/2 Beef once a year from a local rancher that works directly with a local butcher. He slaughters the cow on the farm and quarters it on the farm. Least amount of trauma possible for the cow.. I don't have to worry when I hear of Walmart meat recalls. No antibiotics or other B.S. I just have to order it about 6 months in advance. It costs more but well worth it when feeding your family and helping your community.

Shop farmers markets. Get to know them and ask to visit their farms. I've done this a few times. Most are accommodating and it's a great family experience.

Or! Only buy meat from the farmers market and only from the ranchers who raise 100% clean meat. Much simpler lol. Same goes for eggs plus they can sit on the counter for a few weeks before they’ll float.
